Company News China Xintiandi An innovative model for integrated urban living The NOI+ICSC China Asset Management Seminar held in Beijing on August 21 brought together investors and experts from the retail and commercial property sector to discuss opportunities and challenges in the management of shopping malls. Company News China Xintiandi Announces 2014 Interim Results 27 August, the parent company of China Xintiandi, Shui On Land Limited announced its unaudited consolidated results for the six months ending 30 June 2014. Rental income contribution from China Xintiandi is growing. During the period, the commercial property portfolio managed by China Xintiandi comprises three parts, namely its Initial Portfolio in co-operation with Brookfield with a total GFA of 593,000 sq.m.; Shui On Land s commercial property portfolio (excluding hotel properties) with a total GFA of 647,000 sq.m.; and third parties assets under management with a total GFA of 357,000 sq.m.. Rental and related income of China Xintiandi Initial Portfolio increased by 4% to RMB377 million. The increase was mainly driven by the newly completed Showroom Office Towers at THE HUB in the Hongqiao Transportation Hub. Rental and related income generated by Shui On Land s completed portfolio amounted to RMB125 million, representing an increase of 19%. Since its establishment as a separately managed company in 2013, China Xintiandi has been focusing on commercial asset management and investment. By nurturing vibrant communities and commercially thriving districts, China Xintiandi enhanced the quality of commercial portfolio and rental growth. Shanghai Xintiandi Uncle Nathan Soon Exhibition The avant-garde artist, Nathan, exhibited over 100 pieces of his work at an exhibition titled Uncle Nathan Soon organised at the Bridge Gallery in Xintiandi Style in August. Chongqing Tiandi Tesla s Exclusive Booth Opens Tesla s exclusive booth and charging space opened its doors at Chongqing Tiandi offering free test drives and free-of-charge charging services to all Tesla owners. Chongqing Tiandi Sri Lanka Tourism & Culture Exhibition The Sri Lanka Tourist Board, in collaboration with the Sri Lankan Consulate in Chengdu, M CLUB and Chongqing Tiandi, staged an exhibition to celebrate Sri Lankan culture at Chongqing Tiandi from August 19 to 31. The Sri Lankan Consul General in Chengdu attended the inaugural ceremony on August 19 and delivered opening remarks. The exhibition featured traditional dances. Visitors received gifts from Sri Lanka and participated in tourism and culture sharing events over the weekend to gain a better understanding of the local customs of Sri Lanka.
