CSR STRATEGY ASSUMPTIONS PKP S.A., as a State Treasury company characterised by long- standing experience and tradi-on in railway asset management, wants to achieve its business objec-ves taking into account essen-al social, environmental and economic aspects in accordance with the idea of sustainable development. By managing a significant part of railway and railway sta-on infrastructure in Poland (incl. 2,500 railway sta-ons, approx. 30,000 apartments and 100,000 other real estates), PKP S.A. has a major impact on various stakeholder groups. That is why it is so important that the Company should conduct its business in a responsible manner. Our goal is to act in the interest of the Company, its owner, clients and employees. We want to be a reliable and transparent partner in pursuing our business ambi-ons, which include increasing the company value in conformity with the principles of sustainable development.

CSR STRATEGY ASSUMPTIONS As the Company which manages railway sta-ons and other real estate and has the leading role in the PKP Group, PKP S.A. pays par-cular axen-on to clients needs and expecta-ons. The clients of PKP S.A. are passengers who use railway sta-ons, lessees, units of local government and investors buying real estate. In 2012 we launched Your Railways project in order to improve cleanliness and security at railway sta-ons as well as increase quality of services provided to passengers. At the same -me we are running a programme of railway sta-on modernisa-on and improving standards of cleanliness and quality of service in those facili-es. Since 2013 we have been implemen-ng a programme of real estate management op-misa-on. It comprises ac-vi-es aimed at sale of unnecessary plots, handing over to local governments the railway sta-ons of lixle importance for passenger traffic and sale of railway sta-ons under the Own Railway Sta-on programme.

Our ambi-ons We want to make sure that travelling and contact with the infrastructure managed by PKP S.A. is a posi-ve experience for each passenger: We take steps to make railway sta-ons safe, clean, comfortable, modern and compliant with the highest standards. We want railway sta-ons to become places of coopera-on and involvement of various social and cultural en--es. Moreover: We aim at ensuring that each client associates coopera-on with PKP S.A. in the area of real estate acquisi-on, management or sale with the highest ethical standards, responsibility, quality and reliability. We want to decrease impact on the natural environment both by inves-ng in modern solu-ons and technologies and by engaging in educa-onal ac-vi-es.
