FORWARD PROGRAMME 2009/2010 ADDITIONAL S TO BE SCHEDULED: - Dementia: Strategy & Current Service provision Waiting times beyond clinic appointment times Healthcare for London Developments and any local applications Redevelopment of Whipps Cross Hospital & Foundation Status Health improvement programme with regard to Super Output areas. Choose and Book Over 50+ prevention strategy Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults Suggested by Malcolm Wilders Suggested by SSD Age Concern *transport & parking looked at by ONEL JHOSC A report for Noting in respect to how the hospital is tackling the issue of patients waiting more than is acceptable for scheduled appointments. WF LINk WF LINk Item suggested by Cllr Braham Item suggested by Sandra Howard. Illness can be a life-changing experience and many people do not think about the consequences until they ve reached the 2 nd phase. The over 50 prevention strategy needs to persuade people to make choices before they enter into the 2 nd phase e.g. living on their own, access to services, - all linked to health and well being. Item suggested by Sandra Howard. This is a cross cutting issue. Incidences of financial abuse are increasing especially with the rise in direct payments and the employment of personal assistance. Vulnerable adults personal finances are sometimes controlled by others.
