1 Connection module (MoNet) FCA2031-A1 Description 4
Connection module (MoNet) FCA2031-A1 Description 1 1 Connection module (MoNet) FCA2031-A1 1.1 Description The connection module (MoNet) FCA2031-A1 combines the degraded mode signals from the SAFEDLINK network and the peripheral data bus signals to the MoNet bus. The connection module (MoNet) is plugged into slot X13 of the main network module (SAFEDLINK) on the PMI & mainboard and connects the Ethernet switch (modular) to the system. The connection module (MoNet) can be used with or without a connected network module (SAFEDLINK). Properties Provides the MoNet bus from the PMI & mainboard to the Ethernet switch (modular) FN2012. Transfers degraded mode signals from the SAFEDLINK network when the network module (SAFEDLINK) is plugged in Transfers system degraded mode signals from the peripheral data bus Supplied via the PMI & mainboard Provides the supply for the Ethernet switch (modular) 5

When using the panel in the SAFEDLINK network, the network module (SAFEDLINK) can be plugged into the connection module (MoNet). The connection module (MoNet) generates the MoNet bus from the peripheral data bus and the SAFEDLINK bus of the PMI & mainboard. This is required for transmitting degraded mode signals to the Ethernet switch (modular). The connection module (MoNet) can be used with or without a network module (SAFEDLINK). 6
