TCBS Study program The full MBA program consists of two levels: First level - MBA Basics, consisting of 11 modules of management models and skills, is a complete program of study in itself and leads to General Management Program (GMP) certificate. This level ends with two case studies of practical application of selected topics that have been covered in the course. The assignments are evaluated by TCBS tutors and they show that the student has fully understood the basic management concepts and theories and is able to apply them in practice. All students who achieve a satisfactory result in the case studies and have attended the training sessions (5 three-day sessions) will be awarded a GMP certificate. Second level -The MBA course consists of the key modules of management and the Action Learning projects, in which students adept and utilizes the theoretical models to improve their organizations. For these projects six specific certificates will be awarded. Following the successful completion and presentation of a dissertation, the student is awarded the degree of Master of Business Administration (MBA).

Courses organization and location Time extent of the courses: First level (MBA Basics) : five three-days sessions (generally Thurs-Sat) + a number of meetings to deal with case studies. The courses are opened on an on-going basis throughout the calendar year. Second level - the MBA course: 8 sessions of two or three days and 7 one day sessions in smaller student groups. Location: Zámecký hotel (Castle Hotell), Třešť training centre of the Czech Academy of Sciences. Methods: The course is based on highly interactive methods (Action Learning) and is supplemented with practical groupwork activities for solving the students own problems and the problems of their companies. Materials: About 1600-2000 pages on the above quoted management areas. The texts used are written in a comprehensible language and they are easy to apply in practice. The materials are regularly updated to stand up to the best practices and contemporary management standards. Students: In order to participate in the course, students must have higher or at least secondary education and at least three years experience in a managerial position.
