RAIL POWER UNIT WITH VECTOR 8 ENGINE EURO 3 560 kw POWER UNIT FOR HIGH PERFORMANCE TRAINS Extremely compact in size and weight for totally underbody installation, minimizes the need for connections to the railway vehicle. Equipped with a powerful engine, developing 560 kw and 3200 Nm, with noise level below 97 db(a), at maximum power, it is one of the quietest in its class. The total integration of the auxiliary units provide unquestionable advantages, such as the perfect compatibility between the different components and the guaranteed efficiency of a ready for use system, tested by the manufacturer. Thanks to the limited number of train interfaces, it can be replaced when required within two hours. The number and position of maintenance points has been minimized and concentrated in a limited area, to allow for quick and easy servicing. Lubricating oil refill are fitted with quick couplings and a level sensor for the automatic top of the system. The dual stage suspension system minimizes the level of vibration and noise being transmitted to the passenger compartment.
