Participation / Team quotas Please note: The rules have changed for 2012 regarding Team Quotas: Any competitors ranked tenth (10th) or above on the relevant World Ranking at the registration deadline for the competition; and In addition to the point above, for each Category and Discipline of the competition: - Where the member federation is not the host country: up to four (4) further competitors; or - Where the member federation is the host country: up to twelve (12) further competitors 1

Travel details By plane: Munich Airport is approx. 35 km from the venue. From here you can either take a rental car or take the train (S 1, direction Neufahrn to Munich central station/ Hauptbahnhof (see also By train below). By car: The Olympic Stadium is easily accessible from all directions (follow signs Olympiapark or BMW-Welt ) and is located directly at the Munich Mittlerer Ring. For detailed travel information use a travel planner. Parking is available right at the stadium; the best parking area is reached via Landshuter Allee. By train: From Munich central station/ Hauptbahnhof either take the Subway (U2, direction Feldmoching ) to station Scheidplatz where you change to U3 (direction OEZ/ Olympia Einkaufszentrum ) to station Olympiazentrum. Exit here. You can also take U1 from the Hauptbahnhof (direction OEZ/ Olympia Einkaufszentrum ) to the last stop at the OEZ and there change to U3 direction Marienplatz/ Fürstenried West to station Olympiazentrum. From the city centre Marienplatz the station Olympiapark can be reached directly with U3 direction OEZ. From the station Olympiazentrum head first to the big BMW World (futuristic building visible from the subway station). Leave the BMW world to your right and turn right into a walkway parallel to the big road Mittlerer Ring. The stadium can be seen to the left of the ring and is reached via a bridge over the Mittlerer Ring. You get to the venue right after you have passed the main entrance slightly to the right. 12. Accommodation Important: At the weekend of the Boulder World Cup, Munich also hosts one of the biggest medical congresses in the world (more than 60.000 attendees) with hotel prizes going up extremely especially in the inner city areas. However, with the commundo hotel, we have found a hotel partner offering us a very good deal. The hotel is some kms outside the city, but you will very probably not find a better deal closer to the venue hotel rooms in the City were already fully booked in March.
