For dogs registered with AKC after May 1, 2000 that earn AKC titles and registration information is published in the AKC New Titles of Record Report, no copy of the AKC registration is necessary for club titles to be recorded; for dogs that earn a club field test title prior to any AKC titles, a copy of the AKC registration Certificate must be sent to Records for the title to be recorded Ducks will be used on water, pheasants or ducks will be used on land. Running order will be determined by random draw the day of closing. Bitches in season are not allowed to run the test. Lunch will be available for sale each day at the club house building from 11:00 AM 2:00 PM.
WELCOME - The Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever Club - USA welcomes you to our 2015 National Specialty NSDTRC-USA Hunt Test! We wish each of you the excitement and fun of working your dogs in the field, as well as the pleasure of making new acquaintances and renewing old friends, and of celebrating the successes of the day. We ask that all handlers be willing to pitch in and help where needed thereby making it possible for everyone to enjoy their weekend. We sincerely thank all the judges, workers and volunteers who make these field events happen. Please be courteous to these people who graciously give their time and expertise to support the event. Most grateful thanks to the Manitowoc County Kennel Club for the use of their beautiful grounds. Please follow all parking and airing restrictions, and be considerate of others while driving through the property. And, of course, do remember to pick up after yourself and your dogs. Good luck to all, and GUNS UP! REFUNDS After the closing date, you must notify the hunt test secretary BEFORE the start of the stake where the dog is entered. Partial refunds will be given only for dogs withdrawn for the following reasons: bitch in heat, illness of the dog, injury to the dog, or death of the dog. Additionally, refunds will only be made upon written application to the Hunt Test Secretary and submission of appropriate veterinarian s certificate within ten (10) days of the test. A fee of $15 will be deducted from the entry fee to cover the Club s expenses. Field Banquet There will be a Field Banquet on Saturday, September 19 at the MCKC Clubhouse building following the day's events at 5:30 PM. Field banquet meal tickets MUST be purchased in advance on the NSDTRC (USA) website at: http://nationals.nsdtrc-usa.org/. HOTELS/CAMPING The MCKC field grounds are located approximately one hour from the Specialty Host Hotel in Neenah; numerous hotel options are available in Manitowoc that are about 15 minutes away from the field grounds. Please keep in mind the Green Bay Packers will be playing a 7:30 PM home game Sunday, September 20 and it is highly recommended to secure arrangements early. Struan Award This is a perpetual trophy to be awarded by Joan and Eric Johnson in honor of NSDTRC Ch/HR/WR Ch Lennoxlove s Run With Wolves JH, WCX, Canadian WCI to the NSDTRC (USA) member-handler of the oldest dog (5 years +) of either sex to earn a Working Certificate Intermediate who has not previously earned a hunt test title requiring a double marked retrieve. To be eligible for the Struan Award, you must submit the Struan Award Application included in this premium with your entry. The award will be presented at the Field Banquet on Saturday evening at the conclusion of the 2015 NSDTRC(USA) BRT/WC/WCI/WCX tests.
