Film London reviews this list annually. However please note once the fund is launched in April / May each year the list is closed and no new festivals will added until the following years review. Film-makers whose short films have been selected by festivals on list (A) are eligible to apply to Film London for financial assistance for travel (unless they already hold a travel grant from another funding body such as the British Council). Film-makers who have been selected and are in competition in list (B) only can apply for assistance with making a first print of their film (if required by the festival). List (B) festivals included in this list EITHER award a Prix UIP, which includes an automatic nomination in the short film category of the European Film Awards, OR allow winners of a best-in-category award eligibility for consideration for Best Animated Short Film and Best Live Action Short Film at the annual Academy Awards. All awards will be subject to the availability of funds and may not be for the maximum amount stipulated in the Film Fund Guidelines. Film-makers Fund List 5 05/05/09
