EDUARDO TAMI Flautist (Buenos Aires, 31-01-1952) 1965: He began his flute studies at the Conservatory of music Juan Jose Castro, where he had some outstanding Argentine musicians as teachers such as Alfredo Iannelli, Raquel Arana Ines Gomez Carrillo, Djerko Spiller, Gerardo Gandini, etc. 1972/1980: Intensive activity performing with the conservatory s chamber ensemble, in the city of Buenos Aires and in the central part of the country. 1980/82: Moved to Montevideo (Uruguay) - Master classes with Prof. Santiago Bosco. 1982: Moved back to Buenos Aires. 1st Flute, member of the V.B.A. Symphonic Orchestra. Performing as a popular music arranger and performer, he toured with several artists all over the country (Argentina). In 1987, he created and hosted the Ensamble de Camara de Vicente Lopez, supported by the City Hall of the city of Vicente Lopez and sponsored by several private companies. Currently is a member of UB Tango, orchestra conduced by the prestigious Lucho Repetto, and Carla Algeri Quartet. Also works as a columnist in the magazine MUSICA edited in Medellin Colombia. Musical Events Organization: 1995-1997: He took part in Sognare Musica Internazionale, an international organization that organized concerts, festivals, master classes, and facilitated exchanges of Argentine and Italian musicians. 1997-2001: co-founder El Sonido y El Tiempo, a similar organization that had its main offices in Buenos Aires and subsidiaries in Sardinia and Milan (Italy). 1998: Joined pianist Alfredo Corral in a duo, and in 2000, they recorded their CD Intermezzo, which contains works by Astor Piazzolla, Carlos Guastavino, Johann Sebastian Bach, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Robert Schumann and Eduardo Tami. Joanna Li Pianist "a gifted pianist such a talented musician will bring great benefits to her motherland" wrote world famous pianist, Professor V.Merzhanov, the jury member of the Chopin International Piano Competition in Warsaw. marvelous technique,.touching sound.. wrote renowned German Pianist, Professor B.Lvov. Joanna Li was born into a family of musicians in China. Her parents are both vocal performers. Joanna started to play piano at four years old and gave her first performance on stage at the age of five. She won many prizes of national piano competitions in her childhood. She then studied piano in Russia for nine years. She was granted the title 'solo performer' by the Russian Government, which is only issued to the most outstanding students in the country. She has finished a Degree of Master as Solo Performance, a Degree of Master as Chamber Music, a Degree of Master as Piano Accompanist and a Degree of Master as Teacher. Joanna then finished her highest professional qualification of piano performing (Degree of Doctor) under the guidance of internationally acclaimed Professor V. Merzhanov in one of the most prestigious Conservatories in the world - the Moscow Conservatory. Dr. Li was the Laureates of two international piano competitions - International Piano Competition in the memory of 250 Anniversary of Mozart s birth in Russia (Second place) and International Slavonic Piano Competition in Russia (Third places). The pianist has performed in Russia, Poland, Hungary and China (inc. Hong Kong). She has been invited to play piano solo recitals every year. Joanna has also been invited as the jury member of international piano competitions in Moscow. She was the writer of the piano exam book "Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music Lecture on piano exams (in Chinese language)". Dr. Li is a piano instructor of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Institute of Education and International Christian Quality Music Secondary and Primary School now. She also gives master classes and organizes students' concerts regularly. Her students won some national and international piano competitions. She has received the teacher s award by the Organization of the Toyama Asian Youth Music Competition and Grieg and Bartok Piano Competition
