General information Detail Application» HEPA terminal filter units for ceiling installation as final filters and for air distribution.» Fitting of filter elements for the separation of suspended particles such as aerosols, toxic dusts, viruses and bacteria from the air. The terminal filter unit is equipped with a filter dust loading detector that indicates when the filter needs to be replaced; the power supply for the dust loading detector is integrated into the filter element. Material» Airtight casing made of sheet steel with white powder coating (RAL 9010, standard). Construction» Type F640: with side entry circular spigot» Type F650: with side entry rectangular spigot» Type F660: with top entry circular spigot Equipment» HEPA terminal filter unit with integral pressure monitor to detect filter element dust loading.» Independent system that requires no external power supply. Power is supplied by a battery integrated in the filter element (battery life approx. 2 years).» An LED indicates when the filter element and/or the battery has to be replaced.» Two-point fixing of filter elements as standard, four-point fixing upon request.» Three types of diffuser face plate are available. VDW, FD and DLQL.» Sealing integrity test facility.» Pressure measuring points at the top (standard) to monitor differential operating pressure. Options» Integral sealing integrity test facility and internal measuring tube.» Four-point fixing for filter element.» Casing with black powder coating (RAL 9005).» Pressure measuring points at the side of the HEPA terminal filter unit (except for variants Y and Z). Installation and maintenance» Diffuser face with single central fixing screw to facilitate its removal for maintenance. Suitable filter elements» Filter elements have to be ordered separately.» Frame made of extruded anodised aluminium profile.» High-performance filters H13 and H14. Integral 3.6 V battery (battery life approx. 2 years) for supplying power to the filter dust loading detector.» The battery is placed on the upstream side of the filter element. The battery unit and the filter element have to be removed from the terminal casing at the same time. When the filter element has reached the maximum dust loading a new filter element with new battery pack must be installed. 2
