Boiler or heat pump application Solution > 2-zone outdoor temperature compensated controller Operating principle The DELTA 200 controller manages the heating in the home according to the outdoor temperature and to the underfloor system feed temperature. It controls the opening and closing of the underfloor heating mixing valve and activates/deactivates 2 circulator pumps to control the temperature of 2 heating zones in the home. The controller optimises heating within these zones based on the outdoor temperature measured by the sensor. It calculates the exact time required to reach the desired temperature by the scheduled time, regardless of weather conditions outside. It controls the building s hot water underfloor heating via 6 thermal actuator controls. Each DELTA 600 TH thermostat controls the thermal actuator for the floor assigned to it. Solar panel application Solution > Solar panel heated-dhw control Operating principle The electronic modular thermostat controls the water temperature in the circuit. It controls the circulation of the heat transfer fluid based on the difference in temperature between the water heater and the solar panel. For example: If the temperature of the solar panel goes 10 C above that of the water heater, the thermostat activates the circulator so that the heat transfer fluid can warm up the water heater. If the temperature of the solar panel goes down to 2 C above that of the solar water heater, the thermostat stops the circulator.
