Welcome to Fusion Voicemail Plus! Fusion Voicemail Plus User Guide For Android Devices Fusion Voicemail Plus (FVM+) is a replacement for the ordinary voicemail that you use with your cellular phone company. With FVM+ you receive your voicemail messages right on your mobile phone within seconds of the caller leaving it. To use Fusion Voicemail Plus, you simply change the voicemail call forwarding number for your mobile phone from your carrier s voicemail system to the PhoneFusion voicemail system. Instructions on how to make this change were provided to you at signup and via email. Once you have enabled call forwarding, the PhoneFusion system will take your voicemail messages and send them to your mobile phone. You will know that a voicemail has arrived when you hear the PhoneFusion announcement tone and see the new message indicator. To access FVM+, you can run the application from the icon on the application screen. Fusion Voicemail Plus is now available in French, Spanish, German and Italian!! If your Android device is set up for another language, Fusion Voicemail Plus will translate to the device s default language if it is supported, otherwise it will be in English. **IMPORTANT NOTE**FUSION VOICEMAIL PLUS IS A FREE APPLICATION, HOWEVER, YOUR CARRIER MAY CHARGE YOU TO USE SOME OF THE FEATURES REQUIRED TO MAKE THIS APPLICATION WORKS SUCH AS TEXT MESSAGING AND CONDITIONAL CALL FORWARDING. Installation and notes: 1) To install Fusion Voicemail Plus on your Android phone/device, please visit the Android Market and download the application. **Be sure that your SD card is in the phone and mounted to the device in order to properly save this application** Once downloaded, the application will appear on your notification bar. When you open the application, you will receive a message to register. Please click OK and follow the sign up instructions. You will be prompted to call into your mailbox to record your voicemail greeting. You will also be prompted to activate your conditional call forwarding. Page 1 of 13

To manually activate conditional call forwarding, simply open the application, click the MENU key, go to Settings and click Activate Fusion VM+. If you need assistance, please email support@phonefusion.com, and we ll be happy to help, or visit us online at http://support.phonefusion.com. **Please note that certain plans such as Flex Pay and family shared plans restrict the use of conditional call forwarding, therefore making Fusion Voicemail Plus incompatible with these plans.** Once your account is registered and your call forwarding has been activated, please test the application by either logging into your web account and forcing a test message to your device or calling your number from another phone and leaving yourself a message. 2) Once you ve completed the installation you will receive a Welcome Letter that will include a subscriber ID (1011********) and a unique pass code along with a link to the website where you can log into your web account. Please make sure you store this email for future reference. **Note that this user name and password cannot be changed for security purposes.** 3) You can access Fusion Voicemail Plus at any time by clicking on the icon. If the device is idle, FVM+ will also open automatically upon receiving a new voicemail message. Using Fusion Voicemail Plus: Once installed, FVM+ will notify you when a new message is received by playing the PhoneFusion new message tone and sending an SMS message to your device. This SMS message and FVM+ application will appear in your notification bar. The SMS tells the application on your phone that you have a new voicemail at which time it may be downloaded depending on your automatic download setting. Your messages will display as follows: If you have the Auto Download option set to on, FVM+ will automatically download new messages as they arrive. Messages are not downloaded when the arrow to the far right is facing down. If the arrow is facing to the right; the message was downloaded. Note: if the download is unsuccessful (usually due to temporary Internet connectivity issues), you can simply click the message at any time to reattempt the download. Each voicemail message can be up to 2 minutes in length. And you Page 2 of 13

have up to 50 MB total storage capacity online which is approximately 30 minutes Messages are color-coded as follows: Red Green Orange Marked for deletion (deleted when you empty trash). Note that if you don t empty your trash your mailbox may fill up. New (not listened to) Old (listened to) Each message shows the date and time (in your selected time zone) that the message was received, the length of the message in minutes:seconds, the phone number that left the message, the phone number the message was left for and the Caller ID name (if available) of the caller. Note that the Caller ID name is taken from your contacts on your device. If you do not have a specific caller s name added to your contacts, FVM+ will attempt to collect the caller s name from their carrier. Please note that caller s name is obtained from public sources and is subject to change. If your contact has a picture assigned to it and the caller ID received matches that contact; we now display their picture inst4ead of the voicemail icon. If the caller s name is not available; we will simply display the caller s phone number. Highlight the message you wish to listen to using the touch screen. Please note:- You MUST complete all 3 steps above in order to restore your phone service. Failure to do so may result in you receiving text messages from our systems and missed messages. FAQs Q. I didn t get the SMS for the download link for the Android version of FVM+. A. If you have already registered online; please visit the Android Market to download the application. If you have not registered; you can get the download link by 1.) Visiting our Fusion Voicemail Plus website at http://www.fusionvoicemailplus.com or 2.) Install the application using the Android Market option within your device. Please follow the directions during setup to ensure proper installation. Q. How do I register my Fusion Voicemail Plus application on my Android device? A. You can now register in two ways. 1.) Visit our Fusion Voicemail Plus website at http://www.fusionvoicemailplus.com or 2.) Install the application using the Android Market option within your device. Please follow the directions during setup to ensure proper installation. Q. I already have an account with you for my Windows Mobile or Blackberry phone and have changed to an Android device. Do I have to re-register? A. No. If you have already signed up with us previously, you will not be able to register again. Please visit the Android Market to download the application and then log into your PhoneFusion web account and click on Voicemail Plus Destinations. As long as the phone number has remained the same; you can simply change the O/S selected from either Windows Mobile or Blackberry to Android. Q. How do I set my Call Forwarding? A. Simply open the application, click on Menu -> Settings -> Activate Fusion VM+ If this does not work for you or you receive an error code, you may need to contact your carrier and ask them for instructions on setting conditional call forwarding for no answer/busy calls. The forwarding number is 813-200-0200. Q. I am trying to set my conditional call forwarding but I receive an error message stating unable to communicate with network. A. Please contact your carrier. Page 11 of 13

Q. How do I change my Voicemail Greeting? A. Please dial 1-813-200-0200 from your device and our system will ask you for your password. You can then follow the prompts for recording your greeting. If you are prompted to enter your subscriber ID, please enter your 1011******** Fusion VM+ account number or your mobile phone number. Once you are validated as an active subscriber; press the * key to access your Phone Administrative options. You will be asked for your password. Follow the prompts. Q. Can I stop the text messages that are sent to my Android device when I get a new message? The message looks like this: PFVM00000900000000000000. And why are they all in a single thread instead of individual messages? A. Unfortunately, there is a design limitation in the Android OS and there is nothing we can do to stop these text messages in their current format, as this is a Google restriction within the OS. A minor rework on processing text messages was recently done. The application still requires a text message to be sent for each voicemail message received but now the text message is automatically deleted. Note: your notification bar will show a text message was received but when you go to retrieve it; the text message will not be available. We cannot automatically clear out your notification bar. Q. If my mailbox fills up, will you start deleting messages or do I need to do it myself? A. We do not automatically clean up messages for you. You must manage your messages yourself. If your mailbox is full; the new messages received will NOT be saved. The application will show a message received but when you try to retrieve it; the message will show up as Unable to download. No message on server. If you reach your limit (50mb for free customers), you need to manually delete your messages to make room for new ones. You can log online at http://fvmplus.phonefusion.com or use your message management menu options to delete your messages. Q. You ask for access to my phone book and sound settings. Does that mean you have access to my user data and store it somewhere? A. We ask for access to your phone book and sound settings to get our application to work properly. We do not store any user data from the phone book, nor do we store the voicemails once deleted by the user. This means that we can NEVER recover a voicemail if someone accidentally deletes one. Q. Will I be charged for using Fusion Voicemail Plus? A. PhoneFusion will not issue a charge for using our application; however, depending on your carrier and calling plan, charges for conditional call forwarding and text messages may occur. Page 12 of 13

Q. I set my password on the device and each time I open FVM+; it asks me to enter it. I don t remember it. What do I do? A. We will not have access to this password because it is stored on your device. If you don t remember your password for FVM+ application you will need to delete the /data folder on the SD card. Q. Can I change the amount of rings before Voicemail picks up? A. Yes, you can use the following code to change the amount of rings it takes for a call to go to voicemail. To set it to 6 rings enter the following code **61*8132000200**30# and then press the green call button 5 rings enter **61*8132000200**25# and then press the green call button 4 rings enter **61*8132000200**20# and then press the green call button Once this code is entered; you will see the following text: MMI code started, then you will get a response that call forwarding registration was successful. NOTE: If you have deactivated the FVM+ application and then enter the code:; the only forwarding this code changes is 'Forward when unanswered'. Make sure FVM+ application is activated and then enter the code. Page 13 of 13
