The open flow channels in the patent-pending liner design provide for accelerated melt flow and dispersion with virtually no dead or blind spots in the constant guiding mechanism. This dramatically accelerates color change versus conventional cylindrical valve gate systems, critical in high cavity packaging and personal care applications. The precise alignment of the liner and continuous engagement with the pin assures pristine and durable gate performance. Recommended for polyolefins and commodity resins where melt viscosities are relatively low and where color change and pristine gate quality is a must. Precise flow channels in the liner have eliminated fins that cause dead spots Continuously guided pin Perfect for high tolerance, geometrically precise medical parts ACCU-VALVE EX FOR ENGINEERING RESINS Cylindrical valve gating for engineering materials presents challenges to conventional technology due to the relatively higher temperature resins, crystalline or filled nature of the materials and subsequent resistance to pin closing. The Accu-Valve EX design provides precise gate area thermal conditions to ensure no pin resistance to closing while still maintaining exact alignment between the pin and cavity insert. The design also ensures that thermally sensitive resins are processed at temperatures recommended by the material supplier with minimal resin shear, thus maintaining the resin properties. The Accu-Valve EX line is also available in a liner valve style which allows the Mold-Masters supplied transfer seal to act as a replaceable gate insert in the mold with only a small witness mark. perfect pin guidance 1 in the manifold V-GUIDE SYSTEM The patent-pending V-Guide system utilizes a novel approach to preventing material from migrating between the valve pin and valve disk (1) by creating a thermal barrier within the valve disk itself. This seals material from flowing between the valve disk and the valve pin but is still thermally isolative from the manifold to avoid excessive heat escaping from the manifold. This design does not rely on cavity steel for pin alignment, greatly reducing any risk to gate steel wear and ensuring that perfect gate quality remains after millions of shots.
