MEMORIAL BENCHES A memorial bench is a wonderful way to remember a friend or relative. New wrought iron benches will be in the same style as current benches. The bench site will be chosen by the donor in collaboration with the Public Works Director. Benches are installed at approved sites in the order requests are received. Installation depends on the time of year and the number of preceding orders. Once the bench is installed, the contact person will receive notification and a map showing the bench location. The cost of the bench program is $1800 per bench, including a commemorative plaque and installation. This cost also provides maintenance for the life of the bench. Order time for benches is approximately 6 weeks. Upon receipt of the bench, the Public Works Department requires a minimum of two weeks to arrange installation. Payment is due at the time the order is placed.

COMMEMORATIVE TREE PLANTING Trees can be given as presents for a birthday, wedding, anniversary, Christmas, Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's and Father's Day or gifts for any occasion. They are also perfect remembrances to honor a friend or relative. Many offices give trees instead of flowers for funerals or as memorials. The cost of the tree program is $250 per tree. This includes the tree, plaque and continued maintenance of the tree (fertilizer, pruning, mulching, etc.). After the tree is planted, the contact person will receive a certificate and map of the planting location for each tree. Trees ordered from April 1 through October 15 will be planted in the late fall. Trees ordered October 16 through March 31 will be planted in the spring. Payment is due at the time the order is placed.
