Bybanen Utbygging Bybanen Utbygging is part of the County of Hordaland Bybanen Utbygging is responsible for the management, design and construction of approved extensions to the system. At present time there are 45 employees at Bybanen Utbygging. The office will be staffed with additional people in connection with building stage 3
Bybanen Utbygging Bybanen Utbygging has gained substantial competence and experience from the first two building stages and is a professional contract assigner Building stage 1 delivered on time and under budget. Other participants The Municipality of Bergen is responsible for zoning plan and alignment. Bybanen AS has been established by the County of Hordaland to manage, operate and maintain the systems infrastructure and to manage the vehicle fleet. Skyss is overall responsible for services, including timetables, sales, marketing and information. Stadler Pankow GmbH is the supplier and responsible for the maintenance of the vehicles. Fjord1 Partner operates Bybanen under contract with Skyss.

Workshop and depot The workshop at Kronstad is temporary and will be replaced by a new permanent workshop and depot at Kokstad There will be an increased number of trams in line with the growth of the system Fully developed the workshop will serve around 50 trams. The new trams will be 42 m long.
