Oilfield Employment Program Our company provides recruiting, training and targeted job search services to individuals who are looking to start a career in the oil and gas sector, within western Canada. We are dedicated to bridging the gap between hard working Canadians and the labour shortage that currently affects the province. Before arriving to your upcoming program, Kickstart has developed numerous relationships with employers in the industry. We have also located job opportunities that meet your desired specifications. The Kickstart program consists of 9-days of skilled training led by our industry experienced trainers. We aim to ensure that you are fully prepared for the tasks ahead, for your safety, the development of your skills, and ensuring you are gainfully employed. As always, we are proud to maintain a Gold Standard Hiring Success rate for anyone that is willing to dedicate their time and effort to successfully completing our employment program. We aim ensure that with our support and connections you will be offered multiple job opportunities. Our staff will work constantly to provide: Ongoing support and guidance from the Kickstart Team Direct access to multiple industry employers Information sessions on the oilfield and construction industry Safety and training certifications Professional employment skills development Individual job mentorship and guidance Our experienced recruitment staff will be assisting you at all times in all aspects required to starting your new career. Our job is to help transition you into the industry and provide an in depth knowledge of what is required to obtain employment.

The oilfield employment program includes: Airfare to Alberta Airport shuttle services 8 nights single room hotel accommodations Introduction to the oil and gas industry H2S Alive training First Aid & CPR training Ground disturbance, level 2 OSSA Fall protection Personal protective equipment course Interview skills course Professional career planning Professional job search services Professional financial planning course Professional resume service Program cost- $2995+ GST Please note that airfare and hotel accommodations are additional charges. They can be added at a cost only basis upon signup.

Additional information Be aware that spots fill extremely fast. We advise candidates book their spot early to ensure acceptance into our programs, as we only take a max of 15 students per course. To confirm your spot in the upcoming program, Kickstart requires a $1000 deposit to reserve your seat. This deposit will go towards the total program price with the remaining balance due upon arrival to Red Deer, Alberta Once we have received your deposit, your airfare, accommodations and training will be booked. A confirmation email with your invoice and documents will be sent out, and one our training staff will be in contact with you. Other fees include $100 damage deposit for accommodations. This fee is returned in full if no damages are incurred during your stay.

FAQ S What type of jobs will I be trained for? Kickstart specializes in getting you qualified to work in a variety of positions in the Oil & Gas sector. Our programs consist of all mandatory certifications needed for acquiring employment. Below are a few examples of potential jobs you will be trained for. Examples: Drilling rigs Service rigs Fracturing Wire line Coil tubing Well servicing Snubbing Crane opp. Mechanic Transport Operators Hydro vac Seismic Gas Fitter Pipeline Heavy Equip. Safety Welders Pipefitters Plumbers Shutdown ops Nitrogen opp. Camp Maintenance What qualifications are required? Please contact your training advisor for requirements. What is required to obtain a job? Camp Catering Dispatch There are classes involved in the program; these classes are structured for your success. If you are able to pay attention and have basic reading and writing skills, you will have no issues with succeeding. The Alberta industrial sector can be dangerous; if you choose not to take the classes seriously then our training instructors can decide not to issue your certifications. These certifications are mandatory for securing employment. How many students per program? Our class sizes vary, typically there are between 10-15 individuals per group from all over Canada. We see a wide range of individuals in the course; men, women, young, old, experienced, inexperienced.

Are we getting a job right away? Our goal is to get you trained and working in a timely manner. We will be connecting you with employers within the first week upon arrival. We have had many students start their new careers within the first few days of the program. Some students have decided to travel home to get organized once they have acquired a position; this is an option that may be given by the employers if needed. Employers in Alberta are looking for individuals open to relocating, although this is not a requirement those who do have the highest success. What types of accommodations are included? Kickstart will house you in a hotel during the program. There you will have access to internet, computers, swimming facility, gym, cable TV, fax, and phones. Hotel rooms are based on double occupancy. How does airfare and transportation work? From your home province, we will fly you to Calgary, Alberta. We will arrange shuttle transportation with other students from the airport to our hotel in Red Deer, Alberta. It is approximately 1.5 hours from the Airport to the hotel. This is all covered in our service. What payment options are available? We accept Cash, E-transfers, Certified Cheques, Bank to Bank wire transfers, and all major Credit Cards. Our recruitment staff will discuss these options when you are ready to proceed. Are there any addition costs? We highly recommend that individuals coming to any of our programs bring extra spending money in case of an emergency. Please contact our staff for further information.
