Overview Snagit is a simple screen recorder and sophisticated video and image editor software that allows you to record on-screen activity for all or parts of the screen. It also allows you to edit and annotate your image with text, numbers, callouts and arrows. You can capture or import images from your computer or popular applications, You can export your edited image to popular applications like Power Point or Google Drive. Click on Menu, the click on PRODUCTS

Enter you EMAIL, or log in with Google or Twitter
Enter your email, then click on Download Trial
Click on the Download Arrow
Click RUN
Install Snagit on your computer
When the installation is complete, Launch the Snagit Editor

Capturing a Video Step by Step Instructions
Capturing Computer Screen/ Video Launch Snagit Editor by clicking on the Snagit icon on your computer Task Bar or the Launch Button
The Snagit Capture Editor drops from the top of the screen
To capture an image, cross hairs appear. Place them on the corner of your image and drag them to select your image.
The selected area will minimize as you drag to select your image
The image is selected in the yellow dotted lines
Annotate your image with lines, arrows, blurring, highlighting.
Select specific areas in the image and annotate or label them
To download an image from your computer, click on the file icon, select your file and click open.
The file (image) opens in your Snagit Editor and is ready to be edited or annotated

Editing a Project Step by Step Instructions
Click on the Tools Editor and choose from the menu. You can use Tools to annotate and edit your image
Explore the different tools (Highlight)
Arrow
Use the Select Tool to select an area on the screen to modify or delete.
Use the Shapes Tool to draw shapes on your image: Circle, square.
Add lines to your image
Add Callouts and Text
Add numbers to your image
Use the Image Editor to crop, resize, recolor, cut or trim your image..
Click on the CUT button and the highlighted section is removed
To download an image from your computer
click on the file icon, select your file and click open.
Add an Arrow.
Drag the Blurring tool to your image where you want to blur then expand over the desired area
Select the number style, then click on each item in the desired order
Add a Callout and Text in it, Choose your Font
Also choose the color of your text
Expand the Callout to the desired size and drag it to the desired area
STOP: It is your turn to apply your skills.! Save your video on your device. Then review it, enhance it, and edit it by using some of the editing tools. Use the annotating techniques above.

Click on Save or Save as to save your modified image
Your can share your image on any of the following applications. You have to have an account and Log In to Google Drive and Screencast
Give your project a name and save it.

Save your image directly in PowerPoint. Just click on the PowerPoint icon.
