The high light output afforded by the HQI 1000 watt lamp means that Colosseo can be used to light large buildings or structures giving wide and even colour coverage over a large area. As with the smaller IP65 projectors, Colosseo can be mounted in any orientation, which means, for example, that a tall building could be lit from top and bottom, or, using two pairs of units, from the middle of both sides facing towards the opposite corners. This versatility is matched by its ability to be used in almost any exterior environment, due to its high degree of water and dust resistance, evidenced by the IP65 rating. The colour mixing system using cyan, yellow and magenta dichroic filters creates a superb variety of colours, further enhanced by the kilowatt of lamp power. A version of the Colosseo - COLOSSEO CYM 1000 HFT - is available fitted with a wireless DMX receiver, for trouble free control of large or otherwise awkward installations where the running of DMX signal cable from the control system to the projector could be problematic. This system requires the use of Griven s wireless DMX transmitter. 1

OPTICAL GROUP The optical system utilises an aluminium parabolic reflector and produces a soft edge beam of approximately 35. Additional filters are available for alternative beam adjustments. COLOUR CHANGER SYSTEM CYM colour changer system operated by high precision step motors, whereby the mixing of cyan, yellow and magenta dichroic filters can create virtually any desired colour. BLACK-OUT A simulation of a black-out effect is achieved by the simultaneous closing of all dichroic filters, which is controlled from an external DMX controller. CONTROL Internal controller with a choice of eight pre-programmed colour change sequences, any of which can be easily selected from a rear mounted dip switch control panel. Master/slave option for multi unit synchronisation. The dedicated IP65 CYM controller gives full remote programmed control, or any DMX 512 controller can be linked - three channels of DMX per projector. The HFT version with wireless DMX receiver is available if the running of DMX signal cable from the control system to the projector is problematic. COOLING An internal axial fan 120x120 mm keeps the level of heat within the unit constant and helps dissipation through the metal body, which assists lamp life and protects internal components and reflectors from heat damage.
