Eligibility Age: 14 years old completed until the beginning of competition (April 21 st ); Will be able to participate in the 2015 CAIXA LOTERIAS ATHLETICS OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP athletes with physical, visual and intellectual impairment, meeting the follow requirement: o National Classification, with Review (R) or Confirmed (C) status, but in the Classification Schedule for the event; o International Classification, with Review (R) or Confirmed (C) status. Note: Only athletes with international classification, hold an active IPC Athletics license for the 2015 Season and Review (R) or Confirmed (C) status will have their marks validated for each IPC Sport Ranking. 5. International Classification The International Classification will follow the policies and procedures of the IPC Athletics Classification Regulation. The contact for this is Laura Danning (laura.danning@paralympic.org). 6. Technical Meeting The Technical Meeting will be on April 22 nd, at the official hotel. 7. Rules The 2015 CAIXA LOTERIAS ATHLETICS OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP will be held under the IPC Athletics Rules, with some specific competition rules, as follow below: The 2015 CAIXA LOTERIAS ATHLETICS OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP will be held in 04 sessions, as follow: o The 100m male and female event will has seed by time on the first stage and by sport time and class on the second stage; Won t be combined wheelchair user class with ambulant athletes class in a same heats; The eight (08) first athletes each event/class will be classified to final; For T11 and T12 class, the four (04) first athletes each event/class will be classified to final; Must have five (05) athletes to open a final; For T11 and T12 class, must have three (03) athletes to open a final; Will be considered open a final when the heats were finished. If some athlete did not start, the event will occur and, having three (03) athletes, or less than this, the awards medals will respect the "minus one rule. For the events that don t open the finals, the athletes could have up your class to compete (until two class above) in the final event open, if don t have complete eight (08) athletes. The athletes that have a better CTI will complete the event/class. Each Team/NPC can enter a maximum of three (03) eligible athletes per event per class. o The others events/class will have direct finals by class Must have four (04) athletes of three (03) different NPC to open an event; Athletes in class that event is not open according to the previous item may enter for nearest above event/class included in the Event Program open. Athletes of classes that cannot be grouped, according to the previous item, will not receive medals, but their marks will be sent for homologation as well as their competition technical index (CTI) will be valid to the prize money. Relay events will be considered viable if they have a minimum of three (03) eligible Team/NPC entered; o For three (03) Team/NPC, the minus one rule will be applied. 8. Events Programme Events Programme Table is on ATTACHED A. 9. Minimum Qualification Standard: MQS is on ATTACHED B. Available period: after 01/01/2013 10. Prize Money Will be awarded the athletes according the final position in each final event/class ranking: o First Place Gold Medal o Second Place Silver Medal o Third Place Bronze Medal Competition Technical Index (CTI) o WR World Record of event/class CTI (track) = WR Athlete s mark in the competition CTI (field) = Athlete s mark in the competition WR There will be prize money (in Euro) regarding to the National Point System, which computes the Competition Technical Index (CTI) for each athlete/class. The prize money will be for the TOP10 athletes (male and female) and with TI equal or better than 90% for male and 85% for female. The award is not cumulative; the athlete will be awarded only for best CTI; For prize money, will be used the athlete s real class to calculate the CTI. For prize money, only 2015 IPC Athletics World Championship and Rio 2016 Paralympic Games events will be considered for CTI calculate. There will be prize Money (in Euro), for the TOP5 NPC, according the Final Medal Table, to be pay for Technical Commission in the competition. Official Hotel and meals The Organizing Committee will provide officials hotels for the event. (values in American Dollar below); The request of booking or other hotel information after April 3 rd 2015 the arrangements and contact with hotels as well as all costs of room and board is the responsibility of each Team/NPC. Ground Transportation Shuttle from São Paulo s airports to indicated main or references hotels and venues will be provided by LOC for all competitors and support personnel accommodated at these hotels, but informed until April 10 th 2015. 16. Anti doping The anti doping procedures will be in a place and in accordance with IPC Antidoping Code and the World Anti-Doping Code regulations, published by WADA. 17. Information and Results The 2015 CAIXA LOTERIAS ATHLETICS OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP is an IPC approved competition. Only athletes with international classification and Review (R) or Confirmed (C) status and must hold an active IPC Athletics athlete license for the 2015 season in the IPC SDMS will have their results recognized for records and rankings.
