Workshop in Alexandria 10-12 October 2011 Egyptian, Tunisian and Swedish youth in politics convening for a two days workshop in Alexandria 10-12 October Background is a programme initiated by SwedAlex in the aftermath of the Egyptian revolution; to provide space for experience sharing between Egyptian and Swedish youth activists involved in politics and social development. The first meeting took place in Alexandria 7-8 April 2011 when 20 Egyptians met with 8 Swedes and share experiences from their political affiliations and organizations. The follow up, the 13-15th June, took place in Stockholm when 25 Egyptians met with politically active youth in Sweden and visited the Swedish parliament. In October the programme is broadened to include youth from Tunisia as well, The Tunisians and Egyptians have a lot to share and learn from each other.
