Annie Lööf is one of the four party leaders of The Alliance - comprising the Moderate Party, the Liberal Party, the Centre Party and the Swedish Christian Democrats - which has formed the Swedish Government since October Håkan Ekengren State Secretary to the Minister for Enterprise Photo: Johan Ödman Håkan Ekengren is State Secretary to the Minister for Enterprise, Annie Lööf. His main responsibility at the Ministry of Enterprise, Energy and Communications is Business development, Competition development and Innovation. Håkan Ekengren holds a Bachelor s degree in Political Science and Economics from Stockholm University. Charlotte Brogren Director General, VINNOVA Photo: Anette Andersson Charlotte Brogren joined VINNOVA on September 1st Before joining VINNOVA she worked 15 years for the global electrical company ABB in various management positions within R&D, most recently, as Technology Manager for ABB s Robotics Division. She has a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Lund. Charlotte Brogren is chairman of the board of the Swedish Industrial Development Found and holds several other board positions. Since 2005 she is a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences and since 2011 a member of the council board of the International Electrotechnical Commission

2 Frank Geels Professor, System Innovation and Sustainability, University of Manchester Frank Geels is chairman of the international Sustainability Transitions Research Network, and one of the world-leading scholars on socio-technical transitions. He has published six books and more than forty peer-reviewed articles on various aspects of socio-technical transitions. Geels is particularly well-known for this conceptual and empirical work on the Multi-Level Perspective (MLP) and Strategic Niche Management (SNM). Per Engström Deputy Director, Ministry of Enterprise, Energy and Communications Photo: Maria Nilsson Per Engström is responsible for coordinating the follow-up to the Swedish National Innovation Strategy at the Ministry of Enterprise, Energy and Communications. He has experience from working with commercialization of R&D, venture capital, aerospace and EU-related affairs at the ministry. Nina Lundberg Associated Professor, Stockholm County Council Nina Lundberg works both in the Division of ehealth, at the Stockholm County Council and at Clinical Intervention and Technology CLINTEC, Karolinska Institutet. She is head of research and development at the Stockholm County Council and associate professor of health informatics with a lectureship at Karolinska Insitutet. She is also the former founder and CEO of ecare.

3 Gustav Borgefalk Head of Business Development, Sqore AB Gustav Borgefalk is the founder of Sqore AB - Studentcompetitions.com, the world s largest community for competitions and challenges targeting students. Studentcompetitions.com organizes and market online innovation- and recruitment competitions on dozens of markets, working with many of the world s largest brands. Gustav is one of few Scandinavians who has attended Singularity University in Silicon Valley/NASA, working with applying exponentially accelerating technologies to create disruptive solutions for mankind s advancement. Jenny Svärd Environmental and Quality Manager, Bromma Stockholm Airport, Swedavia AB Jenny Svärd has worked as an Environmental Manager at Stockholm Arlanda Airport and as a Group Manager and consultant at SWECO Environment AB. Achieving environmental improvements in interaction with the development of the airport is Jenny s driving force. The Bromma airport is currently in a phase of development where environmental and sustainable improvements are a high priority part of their work. Lena Friblick CEO, Xenofilia AB Lena Friblick is a journalist and a social entrepreneur who works with diversity matters in Malmö. Lena has during the last 20 years, been working at the major editorial offices in Sveriges Radio, TV4 and SVT. Since 2008, Lena runs the company Xenofilia with focus on communication, media and diversity. By using films, books and developing social innovations in new ways, Xenofilia has created project such as Spices from Rosengård and City Farming. Lena Friblick and Xenofilia became Silver Medalist as Sweden s most social entrepreneur in 2013.

4 Trevor Graham Head of Sustainable Communities, City of Malmö Trevor Graham is working with sustainable urban regeneration through a wide range of projects and strategic initiatives. He has previously worked with community development, urban sustainability and sustainable building in the UK and Germany and came to Sweden in 1998 to head the Eco-City Augustenborg initiative, Europe s most ambitious sustainable urban regeneration programme. Trevor Graham is a board member of the Scandinavian Green Roof Institute, the European Green Roof Federation and the European Sustainable Cities and Towns Campaign. Johann Füller Professor for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Innsbruck University Johann Füller is Fellow at the NASA Tournament Lab- Research at Harvard University and CEO of Hyve AG, an innovation and community company, and from , he was a visiting scholar and research affiliate at MIT Sloan School of Management. Professor Füller has published more than 100 articles in the field of crowdsourcing, co-creation, and online innovation communities. This research has won numerous awards, including the Emerald Citation of Excellence Award (2010) as well as the Tudor Rickards and Susan Moger Best Paper Award of Creativity & Innovation Management (2012). Antti Eskola Commercial Counselor, Enterprise and Innovation Department, Finland s Ministry of Employment and the Economy Antti Eskola has worked in the Ministry of Employment and the Economy since 1984 in policy areas of international science and technology cooperation, trade and foreign investments and promotion of ICT use by small and medium sized enterprises. He is currently working on user-driven innovation policies, opening public sector data, implementation of the national IPR Strategy and national Design Programme as well as ICT standardisation issues.

5 Margareta Groth Head of Manufacturing and Materials Department VINNOVA Photo: Anette Andersson Margareta Groth is Head of the Manufacturing and Materials Department, and also a core member of the development and implementation groups for the new programmes Challenge Driven Innovation and Strategic Innovation Areas at VINNOVA. She has a long experience in managing large complex R&D programmes. She has a PhD in materials processing and international experiences include work at CSIRO in Sydney, Australia and Imperial College in London, UK. She is currently also the Chair of the EUREKA Pro-Factory+ umbrella and Vice-Chair of the Governing Board of ERA-MIN, an eranet dedicated to the industrial handling of raw materials for European industries.
