Isover MULTIMAX 30 Specification code: MW - EN 13162 - T5 - MU1 - WS - WL(P) - AF r 5 TeChNICaL SPeCIFICaTION Insulating slabs made of Isover fibreglass wool. The production method is based on the fibering of glass melt and other additives and ingredients. The mineral fibres produced are processed into the final slab shape on the production line. The entire fibre surface is hydrophobic. The slabs in the construction should be protected suitably against the weather effects (outer cassette sheathing, diffusion and vapour-proof foil). application A glass mineral wool slabs, Isover MULTIMAX are suitable for insulation of the outer walls of ventilated facade systems and are to be inserted into the grid under the cladding, or mechanically bonded into the multilayer masonry. The slabs can be mechanically bond using the clamps for soft MW insulations. Insulating slabs are not glued to the surface. When the material is used to insulate ceilings, it is also necessary to use metal dowel pins with respect to fire security that cannot be positioned at the edge of the slab. Especially the energy saving insulation type, λ D = 0,030 W.m -1.K -1. PaCkaGING, TRaNSPORT, WaRehOUSING A glass mineral wool slabs, Isover MULTIMAX, are packed into the PE foil with package height up to 0.5 m. The slabs have to be transported in covered vehicles under conditions preventing their wetting or other degradation. They should be stored flat in sheltered space to maximum layer height of 2 m. Isover UNIROL PROFI Specification code: MW - EN 13162 - T2 - MU1 - AF 5 r Rolled insulation mats made of Isover fibreglass wool are covered with hydrophobic fibres on the entire surface. The production method is based on the fibering of glass melt and other additives and ingredients. The mineral fibres produced are processed into the final mat shape on the production line. The insulation in the construction should be protected (vapour-proof foil, suitable protection against dust setting in case of loosely laid insulation, additional construction layers). The insulation is not harmful to the environment or public health, it is resistant to moulds, fungi and wood-destroying insects. The fibreglass insulation mats with excellent heat-insulating properties are used as thermal and acoustic insulation of sloping roofs and ceilings. Superior energy saving type of insulation, λ D = 0.033 W.m -1.K -1. The Isover rolls are strongly compressed within the package and wrapped with PE foil (1 MPS = 12 Rolls, volume 4,09 m 3 ). After unpacking, the rolls quickly acquire full thickness. Compressing makes manipulation easier and saves space in warehouses, during transport and on the construction site. The production is based on defibration of melt of glass and other additives and ingredients. Produced mineral fibres are then shaped into rolls on the production line. Fibres are made water-repellent on their entire surface. Rolls in construction have to be protected suitably (steam protection foil, partition wall lining, other layers of construction). ISOVER PIANO rolls are suitable for thermal, acoustic, no-load insulation which are a part of light construction with metal reinforcement. In residential or administrative buildings, attics, hotels, hospitals, and industry premises, the PIANO rolls increase total acoustic absorption of construction and therefore acoustic insulation capacity (improvement in sound reduction of up to 18dB, according to solution for side ways noise travel and the number of holes in the construction), especially if the entire cavity is filled (5-7 db improvement in sound reduction from cavity only half filled). The improvement in sound reduction depends on how side ways noise travel is limited, i.e. how the carrying frame of partition walls is insulated from the floor, ceiling, and walls with a flexible insulation tape. Isover MERINO slabs have dimensions of 625 x 1200 mm, are flexible, have stable form, and are applied on paper base. Isover ROLLINO is then rolled together with the paper base which has to be removed prior use. EG compliance certificate 1139-CPD-0735/09 The Isover ROLLINO slabs are packaged with the paper base into 1200mm rolls wrapped with PE foil.
