High School French II Activity Descriptions Conjugation Puzzle This verb-oriented activity allows students to focus specifically on conjugations particularly irregular ones in preparation for further synthesis later in the unit. Conjugation Practice Conjugation Practice is an opportunity for students to practice their verb use in context after focusing on structures in the Conjugation Puzzle. Conversation Station This listening and speaking activity provides students the opportunity to participate in a simulated conversation. Students listen to both parts of the conversation, then record themselves in one of the roles. Conversation Station 2 This simulated conversation is similar to Conversation Station 1. However, students are provided with one half of the conversation, and record themselves in the role of the other conversation participant. Life-long Learner Goals Each semester students are required to create a plan for incorporating the target language into their daily lives. They accomplish this by outlining the long-term benefits of learning a language, by making goals for what they want to accomplish with their mastery of the language, and by creating a plan for accomplishing their goals.
