Day 1 Arrive Paris, FRANCE Welcome to Paris. You are met on arrival at the airport, and taken directly to your luxury accommodations in the center of the city. The remainder of the day is at leisure to relax or explore this incredible and historic city. Meals: None included Day 2 Paris City Sightseeing This morning you will embark on a full day tour of this exquisite city. Meet your driver and English-speaking guide at your hotel, and begin your tour of Paris. View the most famous monuments of this beautiful city, including I.M. Pei s Grand Louvre, an unsurpassed art museum and national monument of France, the majestic Gothic Notre Dame Cathedral, and the iconic Eiffel Tower. Travel along the famed Champs Elysee to see the Arc de Triomphe proclaiming its position as the center of Paris, and the infamous Bastille, symbol of French freedom and liberty. Visit the Concorde, the Eglise de St. Madeleine, the Opera and many more. Explore the historic and enchanting Montmartre district with its white-domed Basilica of Sacre Coeur, and the Ile de la Cité, an island in the center of the Seine, and considered to hold the heart of Paris. Day 3 Excursion to Versailles or Reims Today you have a choice of a private guided day tour to either enjoying to the Palace of Versailles, a UNESCO World Heritage site, or discovering Frances champagne region a private day tour to Epernay and the UNESCO World Heritage city of Reims. --- The Palace of Versailles is one of the most beautiful achievements of 18 th century French art. At one time, this was the seat of power, but today it is the Museum of the History of France. A highlight of your palace tour is VIP behind-the-scenes access to Marie Antoinette's and Louis XVI private chambers, off limits to the general public. Enjoy a delightful lunch on the terrace at the Trianon Palace, overlooking the park of the palace. In the afternoon, your
guide walks you through the Royal Park. See the Trianons, Hamlet of the Queen, & the Petite Venise. -OR- Begin this full day excursion touring the Champagne region and historic Reims, with a short drive north through scenic countryside and vineyards. Arrive at the Champagne Mercier estate for a cellar tour, followed by a tasting of their renowned sparkling wines. Next, drive to the picturesque village of Hautvillers, home to Dom Perignon. Enjoy another tasting and relax over lunch before proceeding to the UNESCO World Heritage city of Reims. This historic city was the site of every French king s coronation. Visit the Palace of Tau and the St. Remi Basilica. --- After your day exploring, return to Paris in the early evening. & Lunch Day 4 Paris at Leisure Today is a full day at leisure to enjoy and explore this rich and fascinating city. Visit the Louvre, stroll the artistic Left Bank, stroll the Champs Elysee the choice is yours.
