Highlights sightseeing & Walking tour You will see the varied contrasts Barcelona offers its visitors. We begin on Paseode Gràcia, where we will see the most important buildings from the Modernist period, including two of Gaudí s most famous creations Casa Batllo and Casa Mila. Then we visit the Olympic Village and Port to discover how the city has changed as a result of the 1992 Olympic games. We continue around La Barceloneta, Plaza de Colón, where the famous Ramblas begins. We will go up to Montjuic and enjoy a cable car ride. When we reach the top of the Montjuic mountain, we will stop in its big viewpoint, where we can admire an impressive view of the city and port. We will go down Montjuic again and during the journey we can see the Olympic Stadium, the Sant Jordi Palace Duration : 4h 30 min We will continue to the Pueblo Español, where we can see a sample of 117 typical buildings and handicraft workshops from all around Spain (in this visit we will taste the famous Catalonian cava). At the end of the visit, we will have a small walking tour in the old quarter admiring the Cathedral, the Gothic Quarter and San Jaume Square. Tour will end in Plaza Catalunya
Full day city tour All through Paseo de Gracia we ll get to Port and Olympic Village and the most important Barcelona beach, La Barceloneta. Next step will be Montjuic and its amazing view of the city and port from the mirador of the city. We shall tour the Olympic Stadium and Sant Jordi Palace. Special Modernism (Gaudi Tour) Barcelona is internationally known as the capital of Modernism, thanks to the Catalonian architect Antoni Gaudí. In our trip and particularly in the Paseo de Gracia we will admire some of his famous buildings such as the houses of Lleó Morera, Ametler, Batlló and Milà, also known as La Pedrera. We will visit Park Güell, another of Gaudí's creations which has been declared an artistic monument and world heritage site by the UNESCO. We will stop in the Sagrada Familia to admire the famous work of Gaudí that he left unfinished and which he buit with private contributions and donations. Montserrat Half day morning A short drive from Barcelona is Montserrat, situated at an altitude of 1,235 m. (about 4,320 ft.). Sitges, Bacardi and Freixenet cavas Full Day Discover Freixenet Cavas. Guided visits in Freixenet start with a short audiovisual presentation on the history of a family business. You then visit the old part of the cave built in 1922. In this part, the company s guides will personally explain the cava production process and will give you tips on how to serve and drink this sparkling wine. At the end of the trip you will reach the tasting room where you can try the different cavas of the Freixenet range. Very near Barcelona we find one of the prettiest towns on the Catalonian coastline, Sitges. Sheltered by the Garraf mountain range, it is one of the favourite destinations of tourists to Catalonia. Park Güell walking Tour Park Güell is a large garden with architectural features located in the upper part of the city. You ll be amazed! When you reach. This is one of the most iconic images of Barcelona. Gaudí s work represents a merging of nature and architecture. The roof supporting the square is held up by 86 treelike Doric columns connected to each other. There are also viaducts atop slanted columns. Park Güell contains a small house where Gaudí lived for part of his life. The house has been turned into a museum and features interesting pieces of furniture also designed by Gaudí.
