Matterport Workshop 2.0 Matterport Workshop 2.0 Overview Workshop 2.0 provides the basic functions of Workshop 1.0 while delivering numerous additional features and management tools, along with a new user interface. Please read through the following sections for instructions and visual references. Matterport Workshop 2.0 Tools Snapshot Click Snapshot to take a photo of the current viewport. Snapshots will automatically appear in Gallery. Measurements Click Measure to create a measurement. Move the cursor to the desired start point and click once. Move the cursor to the desired end point and click again. Measurements will automatically appear in Gallery. Measurements created in Dollhouse or Mesh mode are represented with a diagonal ruler icon. Measurements created in Floorplan mode are represented with a horizontal ruler icon. Please note that measurements taken in Mesh or Dollhouse mode will not be displayed in Floorplan mode and vice versa. In addition, measurements will not be displayed in Inside mode. Labels Labels can be set in Floorplan mode to specify rooms or areas in a property. Click Label to create a label. Place the icon over the area you wish to identify. Click the downward arrow on the label to access the dropdown menu and select the description that fits best. Click on the label to move or rotate. 2014 Matterport, Inc. Page 4
Matterport Workshop 2.0 Scan Management The Scan management panel on the left side of the screen contains a list of all scan positions. If you wish to disable excess scan positions or entire rooms, simply click the check mark to the right of the scan number. Scans positions that are disabled will be represented by an X in Workshop and will be invisible within 3D Showcase. To enable scan positions, click the circle to the right of the scan number. Annotation Management The Annotation management panel on the left side of the screen provides a list of all created Measurements and Labels. Annotations can be hidden or deleted as desired from the panel. To hide and show an Annotation, click on the eyeball icon to the right of the annotation. 2014 Matterport, Inc. Page 5
Matterport Workshop 2.0 To delete an annotation, click on the red X icon to the left of the Annotation name or select the item on the list and use the Delete key on your keyboard. If there are more than 8 Annotations present, those Annotations will appear below the list shown. Click and hold the list to move up or down. Gallery Management The Gallery management panel allows a user to download Snapshots, delete Snapshots, and select start position when 3D Showcase is launch. > Download To download a Snapshot, click the download icon in the upper right corner of the selected image. Delete To delete a Snapshot, click the X icon in the lower right corner of the selected image. Start Position To select a Start Position, click the Start Position icon in the upper right of the desired image. 2014 Matterport, Inc. Page 6
Matterport Workshop 2.0 The selected Start Position image will become the model s primary background image before loading 3D Showcase. The selected image will also become the first visual position a viewer is placed in once loading 3D Showcase. Important: New Snapshots must be created within Workshop 2.0 in order to select Start Location. Images captured in previous versions of Workshop will not automatically become the Start Location.
