MyNet FAQ s GETTING STARTED: Q: What is the MyNet website address? A: http://mynet.englandnetball.co.uk Q: Can I use any computer? A: The MyNet system is viewed using an internet browser on any computer either PC or Mac. Please note that hand held devices i.e. ipad, iphone or Androids are not compatible with MyNet. Q: What is an internet browser? A: An internet browser is the programme you use to access the internet and MyNet supports most of the latest browsers available. Q: What internet browser should I use? A: Every PC comes with a browser however if you d like to keep up to date with the latest you can download any of the following which are all free of charge. If your PC is set to automatically download you should have the latest browser already, please note MyNet and Microsoft no longer support Internet Explorer 9. If your PC is running on Windows XP you will not be able to upgrade Internet Explorer and therefore will need to use an alternative of Google Chrome. TECHNICAL QUESTIONS Q: What browser am I using I have no idea? A: Open up whatever you use to access the internet, it may be one of the following icons Q: I ve installed a supported browser but when I click a link in an e-mail for MyNet it uses the wrong browser A: If you are using Windows 7, Click start menu, Click control panel, Click default programs, Click set default program, find the browser you wish to use, select and Click Set this program as default If you are using Windows XP, Click Start menu, Click control panel, Click taskbar and Start Menu properties, Click Customise, Under Show on Start Menu Click the drop down arrow to select the browser you wish to use, Click OK, Click OK. Q: I get a page saying your browser is not supported when I log into MyNet? A: Internet Explorer 9 also uses something called compatibility mode, if you are still having issues accessing MyNet after upgrading to Internet Explorer 10 please do one of the following; To Turn Off Compatibly View for the Webpage; A) Click on the highlighted (blue) Compatibility View icon button. (See screenshot below) NOTE: The webpage will now reload with Compatibility View turned off for it. Or Click Tools Menu, Click Compatibility View to turn off Or Press F12 key and select Internet Explorer 9 under browser mode at the bottom of your screen. Or Upgrade to one of the browsers in the list above. Q: Do I need to put www. in front of the website address? A: No, MyNet does not use www. in front of the address. The correct website address is http://mynet.englandnetball.co.uk Q: The website won t load? A: Check to see if you can get on any other websites, you may have internet issues Q: I don t know what my username is?! A: Your username is your own individual membership ID. When using MyNet your login details will provide you with access to the areas relevant to your role in netball. So whether you are an individual, Club Secretary, League Secretary, County or Region Contact your username and password will give you access to the relevant areas.

Q: I don t know what my membership ID is? A: Please email the Membership Department at affiliations@englandnetball.co.uk with subject heading MY MEMBERSHIP NUMBER MYNET and this information will be emailed directly back to you. Q: I don t know my password? A: Click on the words Forgot Password and MyNet will send to your e-mail address a link and instructions to reset your password. When you log into MyNet for the first time you will be required to change your password to ensure that your access is secure. Q: MyNet has logged me out? A: There is a timeout policy for the website for security reasons; if it is left unattended for a period of time of 15 minutes approximately you will be asked to login again. Q: I m typing mynet.englandnetball.co.uk into my search box and it s not finding it? A: Make sure you do not put the address into a search box such as Google/Bing/Yahoo/Ask you need to be typing it into the address bar or Click the link from an e-mail. Your address bar will look like this; Q: I am using one of the listed/supported browsers but I still cannot log onto MyNet? A: Browsers are constantly being updated to protect from the latest security flaws and viruses, you may just need to update your browser by downloading again from the link above. Q: My browser is Sky/BT/TalkTalk/Virgin/PlusNet/Orange/etc. which one can I use? A: They are providers rather than browsers; - you will be using one of the following; Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Netscape. Clearing your cache: All Windows browsers have a keyboard shortcut. This works in Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera. From inside the browser PRESS AND HOLD DOWN Ctrl AND SHIFT ( ) keys, and then whilst still holding these two keys PRESS DELETE ONCE. Below see screenshots for which options need to be selected in order to remove the local browser cache without deleting the users internet history.
