All horses will be shampooed, rinsed and allowed to dry, and their hooves will picked clean of all solid material and washed with shampoo. 2. All vehicles and equipment accompanying the horses will be cleaned to remove all solid material that could contain disease agents, and then disinfected. I FURTHER DECLARE THAT: 3. The information contained in this Biosecurity Declaration is true and correct to the best of my knowledge. 4. I agree to abide by all conditions that may be imposed at any time by the Event Organising Committee/Manager. 5. I acknowledge that in failure to comply, I may be directed to leave and my nominations will be forfeited. 6. I acknowledge that decontamination and disinfection procedures may be required of me if instructed by the Event Organising Committee/Manager. 7. I acknowledge that there is a possibility that horses might become infected with disease agents as a result of any movements and if necessary horses and premises will be quarantined in accordance with any Legislation covering such occurrences including policies and procedures in effect at that time. HORSES SECTION 1 CONDITIONS These conditions are to be read in conjunction with the Pine Rivers A H & I Association s Regulations. 1. All Competitors participate on the understanding that these conditions have been read. 2. NOMINATIONS The Exhibitor is requested to pay the nominated entry fees, before competing in an event, at the Nomination Box. The Exhibitor will receive an entry ticket for each class nominated. REMEMBER, ONE TICKET PER EVERY CLASS NO TICKET NO PARTICIPATION The entry ticket will be collected by Ring Steward just prior to judging of class. It is essential that every Exhibitor has an entry ticket or the Ring Steward will be forced to ask the Exhibitor to leave the ring without notice. 3. PRIZE MONEY NO ENTRY FEES WILL BE REFUNDED (UNLESS ON VETERINARY S CERTIFICATE) All Class winners will be given a signed completed Prize Card by the Ring Steward. Collection of the prize can be made at the Show Secretary s Office only on presentation of this signed completed Prize Card on FRIDAY PAYOUTS FOR SUNDAY AT THE NOMS BOOTH ALL PRIZE MONIES PAID IN FULL. THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUING SUPPORT. Where Trophies and Donations are being presented as prizes for a class, these substitute the normal prize listed and is not additional to prize money. Sashes will be presented for all Supreme Champions. Champion and Reserve Champions unless stated otherwise. 4. The Ringmaster and/or Chief Steward are empowered to alter and/or cancel any event according to any circumstances they deem viable. They may refuse the acceptance of any horse, rider, driver or entrant no correspondence will be entered into. 5. The Judges decisions, consistent with the Pine Rivers A H & I Association, is absolute and final. However, protest in writing may be lodged within fifteen (15) minutes of a class s completion to the Secretary of the Pine Rives A H & I Association accompanied with a $50.00 fee. Where protest is dismissed the fee is forfeited to the Pine Rivers A H & I Association and no further correspondence will be entered into.

6. A Pony must not exceed 14 Hands A Galloway is a Horse over 14 Hands and up to but not exceeding 15 Hands A Hack is over 15 Hands A Maiden is never to have won a First prize at any Show. A Novice is never to have won a First prize at a Royal Show or any open Championship, excluding pairs. 7. ALL STALLIONS AND COLTS 1 YEAR AND OVER MUST BE LED ON A BAR, YEARLING OR REARING BIT OR RIDDEN BY A PERSON 18 YEARS OR OVER WITH THE APPROVAL OF THE RING STEWARD. 8. Exhibits eligible for Championships will become ineligible if not present for judging when their event is called. 9. ALL COMPETITORS MUST PAY ENTRY FEES BEFORE COMPETING. 10. All electrical appliances brought onto the grounds must have a current test tag to comply with the Workplace Health and Safety Act. 11. The Pine Rivers A H & I Association will not accept any responsibility for any mishaps or accidents to competitors, animals, property or onlookers which may occur. 12. The age of a horse shall be calculated from the first day of August. Every horse foaled before the first of August in any year shall be deemed to be one year old on that date. 13. Stallions are not permitted in Hack classes. 14. Pony Hacks must be ridden by a rider under 17 years of age. 15. No ring shall be required to wait for a competitor who may be competing in another ring. 16. Judges must be suitably attired in either riding clothes or neat street attire when judging. 17. Pine Rivers Show Society may carry out random tests for drugs in horses. 18. Show Hunter is not eligible for other hack classes 19. NO SPECTATORS, CHILDREN, STROLLERS OR DOGS WILL BE ALLOWED IN MAIN ARENA. ONE HANDLER PER HORSE WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE RING. ARMBANDS WILL BE ISSUED TO THOSE ELIGIBLE TO ENTER RING. THIS IS A WORKPLACE HEALTH & SAFETY REQUIREMENT 20. N0 HORSES ARE ALLOWED TO BE KEPT ON THE GROUNDS OVERNIGHT

PINE RIVERS A.H. & I. ASSOCIATION ( The Show society ) Name of Event: The Pine Rivers Show Dates/Duration of Event: Horse Event Participant Waiver, Release and Acknowledgement Form In this Waiver, Release and Acknowledgement Form The Show Society means and includes all affiliated entities; servants or agents of the Show Society, all employees of the Show Society, all members of the Show Society and all volunteers of the Show Society and/or all affiliated entities. By participating in the Event: 1. I acknowledge that it is a condition of participating in the Event that I do so at my own risk. I accept all risks and release the Show Society from all claims, demands and proceedings arising out of or connected with my participation in the Event and indemnify them against all liability for any injury, loss or damage arising out of or connected with my participation in the Event. This release continues forever and binds all of my heirs, successors, executors, personal representatives and assigns. 2. I acknowledge that it is a condition of participating in the Event that the Show Society and any person or body directly or indirectly associated with the Event are absolved from all liability arising for injury or damage to myself or my property howsoever caused a4rising out of my participation in the Event whosoever whether due to any negligent act, breach of duty, default and/or omission on the part of the Show Society and any person or body directly or indirectly associated with the Event or otherwise. 3. I acknowledge that participating in the Event may involve a risk of serious injury or even death. I accept all risks necessarily flowing from participating in the Event. 4. I acknowledge that the show Society relies on the information provided by me and state that all such information is accurate and complete. 5. I warrant that I am physically fit to participate in the Event and that I have not been advised otherwise by a qualified medical practitioner. I acknowledge that I must disclose any pre-existing medical or other condition that may affect the risk that either myself, or any other person will suffer injury, loss or damage. 6. I consent to receiving any medical treatment including ambulance transportation that the Show society and any person or body directly associated with the Event think desirable as required during the Event. 7. I acknowledge that it is a condition of participating in the Event that I follow the instructions of the Show Society and any person or body directly or indirectly associated with the Event at all times. I indemnify and keep indemnified the Show Society and any person or body directly or indirectly associated with the Event from all claims, demands and proceedings arising out of or connected with a failure by me to comply with rules and/or directions given to me by the Show Society and any person or body directly or indirectly associated with the Event. 8. I declare that the horse/ is my care for the purposes of the Event have been in good health and not shown signs of any respiratory or other disease for at least (5) days prior to the Event. I authorise any official connected with the Event to call for veterinary inspection of the horse/s in my care should they show signs of any respiratory illness and agree to pay any fees associated with that veterinary inspection. 9. I declare that all horse equipment (tack, bridles, buckets and any other articles that have come into contact with equines) and the horse transport vehicle have been cleaned and disinfected before leaving the property of origin to come to this event. 10.
