Logstrup Modular System The Logstrup Modular System is designed in modules of 190 mm. It is modular in all 3 axis, XYZ. The system enables you to build nearly all possible configurations of Switchboards and Motor Control Centres with Fixed, Removable or Withdrawable outgoing units. The Logstrup Modular System consists of: Base frame Framework (2 mm framework in aluzinc, 5 bends to ensure maximum strength) Cladding (Plates, Doors in 1,5 mm or 2,0 mm steel) up to IP44 Standard (IP54 optional in fixed type) a number of other items, e.g. Copper, Internal parts. 1

Main Busbar XY or Z XY: The original design The copper bars are placed on top of each other. Advantage: No bending is needed for the copper connections. Disadvantage: The copper bars heat one another in this position. Z: By later investigations, it was discovered that you can increase the rating by 25% when the copper bare are placed in Z direction. 12

Korinthos Power S.A, Greece MCC Rating: 4000A Type: WDU No. Of units: 48 Year: 2010 The major Power Plant project of Korinthos Power S.A. has been equipped with the new and innovative Omega Draw-out system. The key characteristics of the project is the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of a 436.6 MW combined cycle gas turbine power plant with an efficiency higher than 57%. Requirements for safety and minimum downtime have been essential when choosing the OMEGA system. This new unit presents a number of significant advantages, as it will be one of the most modern power plants to operate in Greece with very high energy efficiency. It is located near regions with high energy consumption requirements and uses existing infrastructure for its interconnection to the power grid and the Natural Gas system. 30
Nalco Aluminium Plant, India MCC Rating: 890A Type: WDU & MDU Network: Profibus No. of units: 50 Year: 2008 This Omega Withdrawable project was manufactured in Germany and supplied to Nalco s Aluminium Smelter Expansion Project in Angul, India. All the large drives had air-conditioning built into the drawers, as the ambient temperature is 50 degree Celsius.
