BRING OUT THE BEST IN YOUR WINE BLADE WINE TOOLS DESIGNED BY DESIGNWRIGHT THE BLADE WINE SERIES HAS BEEN CREAT ED BY DESIGNWRIGHT, ONE OF UK S MOST AC- CLAIMED DESIGN TEAMS, WHICH HAS BEEN WORKING CLOSELY WITH MENU SINCE 2011. BROTHERS ADRIAN AND JEREMY WRIGHT HAVE A BACKGROUND IN INDUSTRIAL DESIGN AND FOCUS ON BOTH THE VISUAL AND THE TECHNI- CAL ASPECT S OF THEIR CRAFT. DESIGNWRIGHT HAS WON SEVERAL RED DOT AND DESIGNPLUS AWARDS AND EARNED THE RECOGNITION OF THE BRITISH INDUSTRY ORGANISAT ION D&AD.

BREATHE! Wine is a living organism, and younger varieties benefit from oxygen because it neutralises the acidic tannins and opens up its aroma and full taste. The Blade decanting pourer is a quick way to oxygenate your wine when you have no time to spare. This also means that you won t have to open more bottles than necessary ahead of time. The decanting pourer is inspired by the Venturi effect, which was named after the Italian physicist G.B. Venturi (1747-1822). The Venturi tube was invented to measure the speed of liquids and gas, and today it is widely used in the wine industry. Wine flows through the hourglass shaped neck of Blade decanting pourer, increasing pouring speed and creating a vacuum effect. Air is then sucked in from the side, and your wine is oxygenated. Air Wine HOW IT MEASURING OF OXYGEN DECANTING PROCESS FROM BOTTLE TO GLASS. Eurofins Consumer Product Testing has analyzed leading wine decanters and MENU Wine- and Cool Breather aerates significantly more than most other similar products. The Blade decanting pourer scores higher than any other decanting pourer. THIS SET FROM MENU INCLUDES A VACUUM PUMP, A PRACTICAL WINE STOPPER AND A GENUINE WAITER S CORKSCREW. The vacuum pump sucks air out of the bottle, creating a vacuum. This enables the wine to keep longer. The waiter s corkscrew is designed with a knife at one end to quickly remove the foil and, at the other end, a stable spiral corkscrew and lever. The Norm wine set comes in carbon and ash shades. The vacuum pump sucks air out of the bottle to keep your wine from going sour.

OPENS UP THE WINE. MAKES IT SOFTER AND SMOOTHER D E C A N T I N G WORLD WIDE PATENT W I N E FULLY DEVELOPED IN JUST TWO MINUTES. ADDS 10 TIMES MORE OXYGEN AERATING WHITE WINE HAS THE SAME TASTE-IMPROVING ADVANTAGES AS AERATING RED WINE DESIGNED BY NORM DESIGNED BY NORM RED WHITE A FANTASTIC WINE EXPERIENCE - IN LESS THAN 2 MINUTES, MENU S NEW NORM WINE BREATHER AERATES A BOTTLE OF WINE, MAKING IT SEEM SEVERAL MONTHS MATURED AND BETTER. YOU CAN SERVE IT IN THE CARAFE OR POUR IT BACK INTO YOUR BOTTLE. MENU IS BRINGING TRUE INNOVATION TO ALL LOVERS OF CHILLED AND TASTEFUL WHITE WINE WITH THE NEW REVOLUTIONARY NORM COOL BREATHER. A BEAUTIFUL BOTTLE-SHAPED CARAFE THAT VERY EASILY AND ELEGANTLY AERATES YOUR WHITE WINE AND AT THE SAME TIME KEEPS IT REFRESHINGLY COOL AND FLAVOURFUL. Aerating the wine causes its acidity and bitterness to evaporate, allowing the taste and aroma to develop. The problem is that it takes at least 1-2 hours from the time the wine is poured until it is ready to drink. To make matters worse, you have to serve the wine in a carafe unless you feel like dealing with a funnel and spilled drops of wine as you pour it back into the bottle. If you do not have the time and patience for this traditional method of aeration, it may be worth taking a closer look at the New Norm Wine Breather carafe from Menu. The New Norm Wine Breather turns things on their head and makes it easy to serve aerated, ready-to-drink wine directly from the original bottle, enabling the bottle to tell its personal story. The secret is found in the unique wine breather invented by wine expert Peter Ørsig. Just place the wine breather in the carafe s neck and let the show begin! The actual aeration process is untraditional and worth seeing, so your guests will probably enjoy witnessing the wine breather in action. Place the bottle on the table and attach the carafe to the bottleneck. Then, carefully turn the bottle over and allow the wine to flow into the carafe. The wine breather spreads the wine so that it splashes through the neck of the carafe and flows down its sides, providing the maximum possible surface area. The wine can be served in the stylish carafe, but if you prefer to have the original bottle on the table, just turn the carafe over again and the wine flows back into the bottle! The aeration takes less than 2 minutes, during which time the wine develops just as much as it would have after many months in the bottle. This provides a better taste experience and, as an added bonus, you are able to enjoy the spectacular aeration process while still being able to serve the aerated wine directly from its original bottle. MENU s New Norm Cool Breather is a patent pending carafe that does for white wine what has long been considered an absolute must-do for red wine. This revolutionary innovation from MENU aerates and opens up the wine, accelerating the aroma experience and upgrading the taste sensation in one swift process. An integrated re-usable cooling stick in the carafe keeps the aerated white wine fresh and cool. It is time to upgrade the experience of white wine. We have long been bound by a tradition that only encourages aeration of red wine, but now MENU changes that limiting belief, says Tim Vollerslev, sommelier and several times member of the jury at the World Championship for Sommeliers. The very beautiful and stylish bottle shaped Cool Breather is designed to integrate the actual aeration as part of the sensation of enjoying refreshed and well-tasting white wine. Place the wine bottle on the table and attach the carafe to the bottleneck. Turn the bottle and carafe over to experience the sight and sound of the white wine aerating through the neck and down the carafe. Aeration opens up the wine, accelerates and enhances the experience of both the aroma and the taste of the wine. The different layers of important parts of the bouquet as well as some of the hidden flavours integrated in the white wine have been locked down in the wine bottle and the short and easy aeration process will allow you to experience all of the white wine s finest details, explains Tim Vollerslev. The integrated re-usable cooling stick keeps the aerated white wine refreshingly cold without the inconvenient use of ice cubes and ice buckets. The cooling stick contains water and is designed to very easily go into the freezer and back in the carafe again ready to keep the white wine tasty and chilled.

DESIGNED BY JAKOB WAGNER WATER WRAP WRAP WATER We all love change, and MENU s rounded water carafe allows for endless variation. The neoprene jacket is reversible with different colours on each side. And the carafe itself is an absolute joy to behold: Designer Jakob Wagner has created an object with softly rounded, angular lines and a smart lid that tips automatically when you pour. It also keeps ice cubes, lemon slices and other decorative bits inside while protecting contents from refrigerator smells. The lid also ensures that no unwanted liquids/objects drip down into the carafe.

DESIGNED BY JAKOB WAGNER ALL WINES DESERVE TO BE SERVED AT THE RIGHT TEMPERATURE White wine seems somewhat dull and flat if served too warm, while red wine tends to lose aroma and full flavour if served too cold. MENU s wine thermometer is activated the moment you attach it to the bottle and informs you of the exact temperature of your wine. We recommend placing your red wine in the refrigerator for a couple of hours if it reaches room temperature, and then taking it out 15-30 minutes before your guests arrive. White wine should be chilled in the refrigerator for a longer period of time, though it should not be served at refrigerator temperature (though there are a few exceptions to this rule). The figure below lists the recommended serving temperature for each type of wine.
