Video Settings Video Resolution The frame rate for each resolution can be changed here.
Anti Flicker Anti Flicker is n video filter that reduces flickering effects in the video. Anti flicker should be selected based on electricity frequency used in that region. In the USA, use 60Hz. However, in Europe, use 50Hz.
Photo Settings Photo Resolution 12M - 4000 x 3000 5M - 2592 x 1944 3M - 2048 x 1536
Continuous Shooting Takes one picture every 2, 5 or 10 seconds. Great for creating time lapse videos. Video editing software required to turn pictures into video (ie Adobe Premiere, Sony Vegas, etc.)
AE Meter AE stands for aperture exposure. This means that your exposure time will be adjusted according to the aperture that you choose. Center - The meter concentrates towards the center. The balance is then feathered out towards the edges. Average - Takes all lighting into consideration then chooses a setting, and auto chooses the best aperture for the shortest exposure time. Spot - Uses a smaller area (1% - 5%) near the center to determine which aperture to use.
Contrast Contrast is defined as the separation between the darkest and brightest areas of the image. Adding contrast usually adds pop and makes an image look more vibrant while decreasing contrast can make an image look duller. Soft - Decrease contrast and you bring the shadows up and the highlights down to make them closer to one another. Standard - Default contrast setting. Hard - Increase contrast and you increase the separation between dark and bright, making shadows darker and highlights brighter.
Self Timer The camera will automatically take a picture after the set amount of time. Just choose the interval and after returning to the live preview the countdown begins.
WiFi Settings WiFi Mode Open - Allows any device to connect to the signal being broadcast by the camera WPA2 (Wireless Protected Access 2) - Adds data protection and network access control. The camera will now require the pass phrase before a device can connect to it.
General Settings Mic Sensitivity Changing the microphone sensitivity changes the recorded audio level. Off - Turns the microphone off. Low - Decreases the level of recorded audio, making it quieter. Medium - Default level. High - Increases the level of recorded audio, making it louder.
Date & Time in APP Sets the time and date on the camera. This is also the date that will be stored on the video files.
Beep Controls all the audible indicators.
About Displays various information about the connected camera. Name - Shows the assigned name of the camera. Click here to change it. Capacity - Total amount of memory on the installed micro SD card Available - Amount of available memory on the installed micro SD card Version - Firmware version installed in the camera Model - Shows the camera model that is currently connected to the app Serial Number - Serial number of the connected camera IP Address - Shows the IP address assigned to the device by the camera MAC Address - Shows the MAC address of the camera
Download Manager Multimedia Storage This setting is for Apple products only. Turning these setting on allows the downloaded files to be accessed through the phone via Photos and Videos apps.
Restore Default Settings Restores all user customized settings back to the factory default settings.
