Duct piercer Duct piercer Hydraulic hand tool designed to punch cable ducts in metal or plastic materials, without pre-hole. Din cutter Din cutter Hand tool designed to cut and drill frame profiles to EN 60715 standard. Assure a clean cut without deformation and let make round 6,5 mm Ø holes along the entire lenght of the profile centre line. Configured according to the needs with blade and accessories that can be bought separately, the din cutter comes without any blades and a standard, 500 mm - long bar holder, or if required an optional 600 mm extension kit is also available. Other special feature of this tool is the option of replacing the cutting dies and the possibility of adding later the equipment with blade for other profiles and accessories. To improve cut orthogonality it's possible to use the special accessories like guide bracket, that has to be fixed on din sutter structure, and outline guide, both bought on pair as shown in the table. It does not require periodic maintenance and has two delivery speeds: approach and working. It can create up to 70 MPa (700 bar) of pressure with just minimum pressure applied to its pedal. The pump is equipped with a release valve that, once working pressure has been reached, brings it to zero to permit cylinder release. This valve function is extremely important when using seamer cylinders because it ensures perfect results and uniform clamping. It comes in a case that holds all necessary cylinders and dies. Drilling cylinders Drilling cylinders These are single-acting hydraulic cylinders that may be quick-coupled to all Cosmec pumps and electrical power packs. They are used to drill plates, pipes, tanks, etc., with the aid of special punches. Two types of cylinders are manufactured to satisfy a wide range of needs, they are supplied with Cejn 1/4" male quick-action coupling. Using adapter code 00RC90, the cylinder code 00C90 can utilize the pivots for cylinder code ; for the hollow dies with pin 00PT11 use ring code 00C92 inserting it between the cylinder and the female fitting of the hollow dies. Punching system Punching system Hollow punch These tools, made of special hardened steel, are indispensable for the perfect drilling of electrical panel-boards, because they do not ruin the varnishing, and can be used even by non-specialized personnel. This tool is constructed of a monobloc in special steel, it is completely open to permit the bars to be inserted easily from above. Its sturdily-built structure will guarantee precision work, even after years of operation. The bar bender/piercer (BBP) fits into a work bench with a steel surface and can move vertically thanks to a hydraulic device controlled by a wheel at the front of the work bench. A gauge running along the front of the BBP and a workpiece stop with an adjustable gauge make it possible to precisely centre the bar every time. The BBP comes in two versions: manual operation or electrical functioning with automatic stop. It may also come equipped with a bend programmer code 009101 (page 20). Bending capacity: from a thickness of 5mm to 12mm with a max. height of 120 mm. Punching capacity: up to 10 mm thickness. Equipments Bar punches These tools are made of special hardened and ground steel and consist of a punch and a matrix whose drilling dimensions are printed on both parts to avoid connecting errors. A spring for dies is mounted on the punches to guarantee the withdrawal of the punch from the drilled bar. The punches and matrixes used for slot holes have reference marks for correct positioning. They are designed for piercing up to 10 mm thicknesses, but for a more correct use it is inadvisable to pierce bars with a thickness greater than the punch s diameter. Suitable for piercing rigid or flexible copper and aluminium bars. If piercing of flexible bars is envisaged, its applications must be specified at the moment of purchase. A manual detailed instructions for use is provided with the tool.
