ACE Structure in Mauritania State In 2010, Mauritania State has decided, to integrate the new submarine fiber optic cable (ACE Africa Coast to Europe). Many international telecom operators have joined the project among those Mauritel SA in an aim to meet international capacity requirements for offshoring activities and Internet driven by ADSL. An Economic Interest Grouping called International Mauritania Telecom (IMT / GIE) was created on June 2010, to establish an international telecommucation gateway. The founding members of (IMT / GIE) are as follow: a. Mauritel, holds 20% of stakes; b. Mattel, holds 20% of stakes; c. Chinguitel, holds 15% of stakes; d. Mauripost, holds 35% of stakes; and e. Private investor, holds 10% of stakes. The implantation of a landing point in Nouakchott amount to 25 Million USD. ACE became operational in December 2012, and since that date Mauritania state has an international capacity of 40 Gbps (global connectivity of the country before this project the whole capacity was 1 Gbps). 8 interne Orange
