Section : Configuration Connect power supply to SIP and power up The default connection for the Sanyo AMY is via Serial Port # on the SIP Connect to laptop/pc via Ethernet port for configuration Fixed IP address is 9.68..6 To configure the Sanyo serial port: - Select the Baudrate - default 9600 - Select Port No and click SEND & REBOOT to save changes To configure the Modbus serial port: - Select the Baudrate - default 9600 - Select the Port type - default RS - Select Port No and click SEND & REBOOT to save changes NB: Sanyo Software for the AMY uses a Baudrate of 9600. The AMY may be set to 900 (default), therefore either the the AMY or the SIP has to be changed. The rest of the serial port settings are 8-databits, no parity, one stop bit.
