Description Warnings and recommendations It is important to read this manual carefully before proceeding with the installation. IP address and Subnet mask: enter the typical parameters of TCP/IP protocol networks, necessary for the identification of the device within the local network. IP router: enter the IP address of the router, if required. If there is a router the field must be filled in, to ensure the outgoing Services, such as sending e-mails. Primary DNS and Secondary DNS: enter the primary and secondary IP addresses of the Internet Service Provider (ISP) supplied at the moment of the contract subscription. 2. Password This page can be used to replace the password with a new one (8 to 0 characters) of your choice. You can also set some safety questions and answers: if you loose your password, you will be asked to answer both questions, after which the password will be reset to the default password (basic_ gw), giving you the possibility of setting a new one. 3 2 4 5 6 7. Enable the possibility of activating/deactivating remote access to the device using an auxiliary channel. 3. Set the activation/deactivation auxiliary channel. 4. Click to confirm. If remote access is disabled, the device can no longer be reached. The only way to reach it, will be by switching the auxiliary channel. 6

Local connections This page can be used to set if the device/software performing the authentication should use an HMAC type algorithm and the range of IP addresses that can access the device without using the open password. 2 3. MyHOME portal By enabling the Portal Enabling item, this window can be used to enter the Gateway ID and the MyHOME portal address. 2 4 3. Enable/Disable the connection to the MyHOME Portal. 2. Enter the ID code (gateway ID) of the MyHOME_Web portal. 3. Click to confirm the operation. 4. Click to go to the E-Mail sub-page. A A. Connection parameters The data in these fields have been pre-filled in by default. Errors in changing the information present may compromise the operation of the services. Troubleshooting PROBLEM It is not possible to display the device in network resources in case of direct connection to the PC The device web pages do not display correctly. SOLUTION Power the device by pressing the reset key until the LED starts flashing red (the LED flashes red, then turns green, and then red again): the device will be initialised with the following parameters: IP address: 92.68..5 IP mask: 255.255.255.0 It is now possible to connect to the device and reconfigure the parameters.. Enable Compatibility View in the Browser parameters; 2. Delete the Browser history ensuring that Temporary Files/ Caches is also selected.
