WELCOME / INTRODUCTION Dear participants, coaches and officials, On behalf of the Karate-do Federation Netherlands I would like to welcome you on the WKF Karate1 Premier League tournament, also known as the Lotto Dutch Open. This fantastic tournament will again take place in Rotterdam and will be held on 19 th and 20 th of March 2016. The Premier League games have proven to be very successful. Quality is guaranteed, as the best martial artists in the world will compete against each other. There will be spectacular matches during this event, for the 5 th time in a row. The Karate-do Association Netherlands is proud to be the organizer of this WKF Premier League tournament. Our Competition Organization Committee will do its best to make the Lotto Dutch Open a great success. We are very happy that Rotterdam is now the host town of the 5th edition of the Karate1 Premier League Lotto Dutch Open 2016. Recently Rotterdam is mentioned as one of the top cities in the world of culture. But also one of Europe s most exhilarating cities right now (shopping malls, dining and nightlife venues and harbor) and of course for its sport facilities like soccer. REGISTRATION All competitors, referees, coaches and officials must register online using the online system on https://www.sportdata.org/wkf/set-online/. In case of any questions concerning the online registration please directly contact the sportdata software team via the email address office@sportdata.org. Clubs / teams / federations are responsible for the quality of the entered registration data. Changes of online registration data are possible until Friday March 4 th 2016. The official registration session will take place on Friday March 18 th 2016 from 12.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m. at the Topsportcenter. If changes are required during the official registration session because of incorrect, missing or new registration data, a fee of 20 is charged for each change. At the registration, accreditation cards will be issued with the participants main data, a photograph and information about registered categories. The accreditation card must be worn at all times during the event. Only members of national federations recognized by WKF are admitted to participate. To obtain such certification, coaches must attend a compulsory Coach Briefing. Registration (only online) Those coaches who wish to attend to the Accredited Coach Briefing in Rotterdam (Netherlands) must be registered online and must fill out the Accreditation Agreement for Coaches that can be downloaded from the online registration site. Grand winners (Karate1 champions) have to participate in 6 Karate 1 events at least. Grand winners (Karate1 champions) at the end of the WKF Karate1 season receive extra prize money. 7
