We are pleased to announce that from 4th April 2016 the Vehicle Ferry Parcel Service will be run by Acclaim Logistics in partnership with Red Funnel. WHAT S GOING TO CHANGE? We can deliver shipments directly to your door, removing the need for collection from the terminal We can forward your parcel to any destination, UK and Worldwide There will be fewer restrictions on the size and weight of items that can be handled The introduction of a Saturday service A new hazardous goods service The Parcel Collection point on the Island will move to our depot in Cowes. You will no longer be able to collect from the Cowes Terminal Red Funnel will no longer operate a parcel service via the Red Jet. All parcels will travel on the Vehicle Ferry Service
Service 1: SHIPPING BETWEEN TERMINALS The Ferry Parcel Service is open between 07:00 16:30 hours, Monday Friday 0 to 10kgs 8.50 + VAT 10.1 to 15kgs 13.50 + VAT 15.1 to 25kgs 19.00 + VAT 25.1 to 35kgs 25.50 + VAT 35.1 to 40 kgs 32.00 + VAT Valid From January 2016 to January 2017 For Heavier / Larger consignments our Totton depot is open from 4am to 8pm to receive goods. PAYMENT - Except for account customers, all carriage charges must be paid prior to shipment. All storage charges must be paid at time of collection and payment can be made by cash or credit/debit card. STORAGE - (FOR PARCELS AWAITING COLLECTION) Rate: 4.00 + VAT per item/per day. Storage for parcels will be free for the first day after carriage. Storage thereafter will be charged at the above rate per item, per day (or part thereof), including weekends and public holidays. Consignments that are not collected within 30 days of despatch will be removed and disposed of. WEIGHT/DIMENSIONS Acclaim Logistics reserves the right to check weights and dimensions of parcels and request the appropriate charges. For consignments exceeding the above limits, please call us on 02380 665950 to discuss our range of parcel / pallet delivery options. HAZARDOUS GOODS - cannot be carried without prior booking on our consolidation service and will be subject to a surcharge. Service 2: DOOR TO DOOR DELIVERY Perfect for your Ikea, Wickes & B&Q purchases Deliver your parcel into our Totton or Southampton Terminal drop off points and we will deliver it direct to your door on the Island on the same day* Costs are as per Service 1, plus the following additional charges: PO31 PO32 PO30 5 PO33 PO34 PO39 PO40 PO41 PO30 4 PO30 3 PO30 1 PO30 2 PO36 PO35 PO38 PO37 Zone One Zone Two Zone 1 10 per consignment + VAT PO30 1, PO30 2, PO30 5, PO31, PO32, PO33, PO34 Zone 2-15 per consignment + VAT PO30 3, PO30 4, PO35, PO36, PO37, PO38, PO39, PO40, PO41 Consignments over 40kgs will be subject to a surcharge.
