Tourism potential: Casa da Tapada has been involved since 1980 in the production/bottling of wines, sparkling wine and brandy from the grapes grown in its vineyards. A project has been drawn up for the adaptation of Casa da Tapada to tourism, given the tourism potential of the property as well as the region in which it is located. This project is focused on the establishment of a Charm Hotel. The project defines the adaptation of all existing buildings (Manor House, Casa da Eira, Casa da Confraria and Casa do Guarda) and the construction of support and leisure facilities in order to convert the set of buildings into a hotel with twelve accommodation units, while fully preserving the farm and its characteristic environment.
In addition to the traditional hotel catering offerring, the geographical and cultural setting of Quinta Casa da Tapada permit a wide range of leisure and cultural activities to be developed, thereby differentiating it from its competitors. These aspects must be evidently taken into account when evaluating the real estate product.
