This represents an innovation in legal communication. The system enables 24/7: n access to information on new documents created/received in matters conducted by The only Polish law firm to be awarded in the prestigious Financial Times Innovative Lawyers 2014 ranking A laureate of the Business Centre Club and the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Ambassador of Polish Economy 2013 and 2014 the Law Firm for the client, including a display of information on the client s panel as well as notification by means of previously defined forms of communication; n access to information on the progress of a matter, undertaken steps and matters awaiting the client s decision, annotations to the matter made by the lawyer responsible for the matter and events related to the matter; a display of information on the client s panel; n generation of statistics and reports concerning conducted matters based on criteria selected by the client, emanating automatically in accordance with pre-defined terms; n access to information on planned activities to be taken on the matter, including upcoming dates of court hearings; n access to information on costs incurred on account of actions taken in favor of the client to date, whereby the system, upon the partner s request, can generate notification on the costs of concrete proceedings taken to date; n specification of working time for a concrete matter conducted by the Law Firm for the client, including specification of the working time of a lawyer or a team which can be issued within date parameters selected by the partner. 3
The purpose of the system is to achieve the following objectives: n the duration for finding and selecting documents that the client is interested in will be shortened; n access to information with respect to a matter, irrespective of the working hours of the Law Firm; n a transparent system of control of costs will allow for the better planning of actions resulting in cost optimization; n easy accessibility to the calendar of lawyers actions will allow for better communication and time management. Communication safety is based on the following standards: n Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) a communication standard amongst electronic systems based on a defined format of communication; n Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) a standard for securing communication between electronic systems based on a key made available on site, serving for identity verification on the basis of a code created by means of a private key (not made available to the other party). PKI security, which is used in the process of data exchange between the systems of KZP and clients, will make the exchange of business information easier between KZP and the client, improving the effectiveness of active security. Thanks to the application of the advanced electronic signature system, the sending of 77gned documents will be conducted in a definitive safe manner.
