Supply Chain Management Salary Trends According to a recently completed Industry Week's 2010 Salary Survey, the average supply chain manager in the manufacturer sector was $98,130, up slightly from 2009. In another salary survey from the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) (Procurement), the average annual salary was reported in their 2010 Salary Survey was $98,200, again up slightly from 2009. Lastly, Logistics Management published their 26th Annual Salary in March, indicating the median salary for logistics professionals was $88,000 in 2010, up over $3000 from 2009. Despite the recent challenging economic environment, compensation for supply chain management remains competitive. In these studies, both education and experience continue to be the leading factors in salary rates.
