Personal Online Banking: If you access your account information through CNB Online Banking, our personal banking site, you will be able to import your account transactions directly into Quicken/QuickBooks. If you are a business customer and access your accounts through our Online for Business product, skip to the following section. Online Banking: 1. Log in to Online Banking. 2. Enter your password. If you have not already signed up for Online Banking you may enroll online by choosing New User Sign Up directly under the Online Banking Login button. Once you have logged in you will need to select the account you would like to add or update in Quicken/QuickBooks.
3. This will bring you to the balances screen for the account you have selected. Click the Transaction button on the button bar above the balances. Then select Export Transactions. 4. Here you will be able to select the cycle, date and export format. The export format for Quicken/QuickBooks version 2005-2008 should be.qfx. For QuickBooks, you will need to select format.qbo. Once you have chosen your settings, click the Export button. 5. This will export your transaction and account information to Quicken/QuickBooks. You will be asked to either open or save your export file. If you choose to open, Quicken/QuickBooks will automatically import the transaction into your register. If you choose to save, you will need to manually import the transactions into Quicken/QuickBooks. See your Quicken/QuickBooks User guide for instructions.
Business Online Banking: If you are using Quicken/QuickBooks for your business finances through our Online for Business product, you will be able to import your account transactions directly into Quicken/QuickBooks. Online for Business: 1. Log in to Online for Business. You can log in directly from the Business Banking page. If you have not already signed up for Online for Business, you will need to contact your Business Banking Officer to enroll. 2. Enter your password. Once you have logged into Online for Business, you will need to select the account you would like to add or update in Quicken/QuickBooks from the account menu.
3. This will bring you to the balances screen for the account you have selected. Click the Transactions button. Then select Search. This will bring you to the screen where you can export your transactions. Select the account, cycle and export format. Once you have chosen your settings, click the Export button. For Quicken/QuickBooks version 2005-2008, you need to make sure the export format is.qfx. For QuickBooks, you will need to select format.qbo.
4. This will export your transaction and account information to Quicken/QuickBooks. You will be asked to either open or save your export file. If you choose to open, Quicken/QuickBooks will automatically import the transaction into your register. If you choose to save, you will need to manually import the transactions into Quicken/QuickBooks. See your Quicken/QuickBooks User Guide for instructions.
Bill Payment: If you use CNB Bill Payment or CNB Business Bill Payment, you will be able to import your transactions directly into Quicken/QuickBooks. CNB Bill Payment or CNB Business Bill Payment: 1. Log in to your Online Banking account or Online for Business account and access Bill Payment. If you have not already signed up for Bill Payment, you may enroll online. a. Online Banking Customers: select the account you wish to enroll from the Account List and then select the CNB Bill Payment button. b. Online for Business Customers: please contact the Online for Business Specialist. CNB Bill Payment CNB Business Bill Payment
2. Once you are in CNB Bill Payment, click the Bill History button. 3. You can choose from a variety of date ranges to display under the Current View field, or specify a custom range up to 7 years. 4. When you have chosen your date range, select the Account option under the Show field. Then select the Download File button on the bottom right of the screen.
5. Depending on the type of browser you are using, you may receive the following popup. Left click on the message and select Download File. 6. Select the file type you want to use under the File Type field. This will vary depending on which version of Quicken/QuickBooks you are using. Once you select the file type, click Download File. 7. This will export your transactions into Quicken/QuickBooks. You will be asked to either open or save your export file. If you choose to open, Quicken/QuickBooks will automatically import the transaction information into your register. If you choose to save, you will need to manually import the transactions into Quicken/QuickBooks. See your Quicken/QuickBooks User Guide for instructions. If the vendor name in QuickBooks does not match the vendor name in Bill Payment then any payments imported will create a new vendor.
