Introduction In an effort to strengthen our end-user security posture and to maintain alignment with state and UNC System audit requirements and industry best practices, the Office of Information Technology has implemented the RAM Access Management Portal (RAMP). RAMP is an exciting new capability for WSSU faculty, staff, and students. It is actually two systems in one. First, it allows single sign-on (SSO) access to applications that are configured for it (currently Blackboard and Student Email), and it also allows all campus users to change your current password, unlock your account, or reset a forgotten password. When using RAMP to change your password, the following systems will use the same password credentials when your password is changed: Outlook email and Web Access (for faculty) Office 365 Outlook Web App (for students) RamsPrint Citrix Campus Windows PCs Blackboard RAMTech RamWare RAMPORT WebFocus Kbox People Admin eprocurement RAMSES NOTE: The following systems will NOT use the same password credentials when your password is changed in RAMP: Banner RAMS Online Banner INB Online Student Health Enrollment Instructions Before you can begin using RAMP, you must first register by logging into it using your current WSSU user account credentials and providing answers to security questions that will be used to prove your identity as well as optionally providing your cell phone number. The cell phone number, should you choose to provide it, is used to receive a text containing what is known as a One-Time Password (OTP), which is a 4-digit code that is used to unlock your account or change your password. To start the process to enroll in RAM Access Management Portal, you will need to have Internet access and follow these instructions: 1. Go to https://pw.wssu.edu. 2. Type your current username and WSSU password and click on the Login button. Office of Information Technology 2015 4 Revised- October 14, 2015

You will need to answer at least three of the questions. Provide answers to whichever questions you wish. Use the << and >> buttons to cycle between questions 1-5 and 6-7. You will not be prompted to register your phone again, but you can choose to provide the information later on your Account Management page. In that case, call your mobile phone company to determine your actual provider. After entering your number and selecting the provider, Click Continue. You will quickly receive a text message with a One-Time Password (OTP) on the mobile phone number you provided for verification. This is always a 4-digit code. 7. Also make sure your cell phone has a signal and you have selected the correct cell phone provider. Upon receipt of the 4-digit code, type it in the One-Time Password field and click the Continue button. Office of Information Technology 2015 7 Revised- October 14, 2015
