Introduction In an effort to strengthen our end-user security posture and to maintain alignment with state and UNC System audit requirements and industry best practices, the Office of Information Technology has implemented the RAM Access Management Portal (RAMP). RAMP is an exciting new capability for WSSU faculty, staff, and students. It is actually two systems in one. First, it allows single sign-on (SSO) access to applications that are configured for it (currently Blackboard and Student Email), and it also allows all campus users to change your current password, unlock your account, or reset a forgotten password. When using RAMP to change your password, the following systems will use the same password credentials when your password is changed: Outlook email and Web Access (for faculty) Office 365 Outlook Web App (for students) RamsPrint Citrix Campus Windows PCs Blackboard RAMTech RamWare RAMPORT WebFocus Kbox People Admin eprocurement RAMSES NOTE: The following systems will NOT use the same password credentials when your password is changed in RAMP: Banner RAMS Online Banner INB Online Student Health Enrollment Instructions Before you can begin using RAMP, you must first register by logging into it using your current WSSU user account credentials and providing answers to security questions that will be used to prove your identity as well as optionally providing your cell phone number. The cell phone number, should you choose to provide it, is used to receive a text containing what is known as a One-Time Password (OTP), which is a 4-digit code that is used to unlock your account or change your password. To start the process to enroll in RAM Access Management Portal, you will need to have Internet access and follow these instructions: 1. Go to https://pw.wssu.edu. 2. Type your current username and WSSU password and click on the Login button. Office of Information Technology 2015 4 Revised- October 14, 2015

3. Verify your username and password and click the Continue button. As the screenshot indicates, you may skip Security Questions enrollment up to 3 times before it becomes mandatory. 4. Security questions will then be presented to you and are used in the event you forget your password or need to unlock your account. You will be presented a total of seven questions on two screens. You will need to answer at least three of the questions. Provide answers to whichever questions you wish. Use the << and >> buttons to cycle between questions 1-5 and 6-7. After answering at least three questions the Continue button will appear. Click the Continue button to proceed to the next step in registration. Office of Information Technology 2015 5 Revised- October 14, 2015

5. Once you have completed 3 out of the 7 questions and clicked Continue you will receive the message Action Successful. Click the link Click here to continue. for the next step in the registration process. 6. After successfully registering your security questions, you will be prompted to provide your mobile (cell) phone number and provider. Providing your cell phone number will allow you to receive a One-Time Passcode (OTP) to unlock your account or change your password. This step is optional. The cell phone must be text enabled. If you do not wish to register your cell phone number, you may select Don t enroll mobile phone and then click Skip. You will not be prompted to register your phone again, but you can choose to provide the information later on your Account Management page. If you wish to register your cell phone, then enter the number and select the provider from the Office of Information Technology 2015 6 Revised- October 14, 2015

drop down. Double-check to insure that you entered the correct phone number AND provider. If you don t see your company listed, they are most likely not a provider. In that case, call your mobile phone company to determine your actual provider. After entering your number and selecting the provider, Click Continue. You will quickly receive a text message with a One-Time Password (OTP) on the mobile phone number you provided for verification. This is always a 4-digit code. 7. If you don t receive the text with your password within 10-15 seconds, check the cell phone number you entered by clicking the link Problems with the OTP? Also make sure your cell phone has a signal and you have selected the correct cell phone provider. Upon receipt of the 4-digit code, type it in the One-Time Password field and click the Continue button. Office of Information Technology 2015 7 Revised- October 14, 2015

8. If you entered the correct phone number and correct one-time password you will receive the message Action Successful. Click the link Click here to continue. 9. After successfully enrolling you will see the Account Management home page. You can log in any time and update this information as needed. If you have finished updating your information, click the Log Out link. Congratulations! You are now enrolled in RAMP. To unlock your account or change your forgotten password, visit https://pw.wssu.edu and select your desired option and follow the prompts.
