Buckinghamshire County Council How to respond to our offer You should read this document and Section 2 of the Starting School or Moving up to Junior School guide before you respond to our online offer of a school place for your child. You may find it useful to have this document open in a separate window to refer to as you are replying.
On the Welcome Page, enter your email address and password. Remember that your password is case sensitive. Logging on

Your response IMPORTANT PLEASE READ: Please do not use the Other Decision option. Supporting text should only be used when rejecting our offer. You should use it to let us know what alternative arrangements you have made for your child. This may be where you have accepted a place at an independent school, for example. You are only able to place your child on the waiting list for a school listed higher than the one we have offered. If you would like to go to appeal for a school we could not offer, please refer to the Guide from page 46. Please do not select Appeal from the drop-down menu as you can only request an Appeal form via our website. 2. Select your responses from the drop-down menu 1. Please refer to the notes at the top of this page, which override those that appear in this section. 3. Click Done
Submitting your response Click Home Please note - you must submit your response by 30 April 2015.
Confirmation When you have submitted your response, a green tick will appear as shown Please note, you can change your response to our offer up until midnight on 30 April
FAQs I have forgotten my password, how can I reset it? Visit the home page, click on the link Forgotten your password? and enter your email address. You will then need to answer the secret question you set up when you first registered this is not case sensitive. An email will be generated and sent to your registered email address with a link to enable you to reset your password. What happens if I have recently changed my email address? If you had not logged on to the online system to change your email address before noon on 14 April you will not receive an offer email. We are not able to resend the offer email to your new account. However, you can still log on using your old email address and password to view and then respond to the offer. If you wish, you can then Change your log in details.
FAQs How will I know you have received my response? Once you have submitted your responses, you will receive a confirmation email. Check this carefully straight away, if you need to make any changes you can log back in to do this up to the closing date. Remember to resubmit your responses if you do make changes. We will email you three days before the response closing date if you have not replied to our offer and remind you to do this. Where can I find information about how school places have been offered? FAQs How can I change my preference list? Please read Section 2 of our Starting School or Moving up to junior School Guide before you change your preference list as there are important things you need to consider. You should email us to confirm your new list of preferences by 30 April. Please ensure that you make clear the numbered order of your preferences. We have further allocation rounds (see page 53 in the Guide) which allow us to consider new preferences, and existing preferences where we have not been able to offer and you have asked to go on the waiting list. You will also find an online form to enable you to request an admission appeal information pack.
