Lectrus is a leading electrical systems integrator and custom metal enclosure manufacturer. We build fully integrated modules for power distribution, power generation, cooling and IT equipment for both traditional brick-and-mortar and modular data centers. Our team of talented employees located at three US plants can create custom enclosures to support your current and future computing needs. Traditional Data Centers Whether building an enterprise class or collocation facility, modern data centers must be designed to meet current and future capacity requirements. They need to have inherent flexibility, scalability, and availability to adapt to the changing client needs along the data center lifecycle. Wholesale providers must pre-provision structures for more power and cooling capacity but not burden early tenants with the cost. The computing infrastructure must be energy-efficient, feature low PUEs and provide customers with attractive yet secure compute and storage options. For over two decades, Lectrus has designed and built fully-integrated metal enclosures and skids for the protection of power distribution and generation equipment integral to data center operations. This includes, but is not limited to: // Diesel generator enclosures // Switchgear enclosures // UPS enclosures // Gas engine enclosures // Equipment skids These products are custom-designed to meet the needs of even the largest data centers. If your client prefers a traditional brick-andmortar server room with prefabricated, selfcontained power and cooling blocks, Lectrus is an ideal integration partner. Modular Data Centers Modular data centers are composed of purpose-engineered modules which provide scalable computing and storage capacity with flexible power and cooling options. Modules can be shipped anywhere, integrated with an existing data center facility, or combined into a system of modules to create a new deployment. Modular data centers are designed for rapid installation, maximum reliability and high-density computing to deliver capacity at a lower cost than traditional construction methods. Because modules are factory-built in parallel with on-site activity, modular data centers feature high quality materials with significantly reduced construction time. Lectrus offers a unique, robust and far more cost-effective solution than conventional site-built, brick and mortar construction. We have designed and built numerous prefabricated data center and IT structures for our clients, including building block pods and stock modules for modular data center systems. However, our expertise remains focused in custom modular enclosures, which allow greater dimensions, added flexibility and improved ergonomics to standard data center containers. In addition to switchgear and diesel generators, these structures have been designed to house primary and secondary cooling systems, racks and servers, power distribution units, transformers, economizers, UPS systems, batteries, automatic transfer switches, central utilities, offices and work areas. Other equipment includes: temperature and humidity controls, fire protection, and structural fortification measures. Generator Enclosure for Large Telecommunications Center in Coffeyville, Kansas 2
Customizable Features & Value Lectrus can engineer prefabricated modular data center structures in any size up to 30 feet wide and 200 feet long, complete with shipping splits to make transport and reassembly at site efficient and economical. In addition, modules designed and built by Lectrus include the following features and benefits: // robust steel base construction for maximum durability, security and reliability. // Interlocking wall panels offer high strength design and lower up-front costs which allows for future expansion as computational needs increase. // Floor and ceiling design flexibility including traditional raised tile, structural steel plate or structural islands for efficient cabling and cooling system routing. Ceiling heights of up to 11 feet tall allow for hot and cold aisle configurations, legacy computing equipment, and maximum worker ergonomics. Numerous Floor and Ceiling Designs Available // over 3,000 product options available, to assure the customized module design meets the unique needs of your client. In short, we help customers develop custom modular enclosures specific to their unique product and business requirements. We match computing, space and functionality requirements with a custom, scalable IT facility. 3
