EAGLE ASSET TRACKING DATABASE Eagle Inspection Technologies offers a user friendly Asset Tracking Database designed specifically for small industrial facilities (Power Plants, Chemical Plants, Tank Farms, et) to easily track their assets. The database receives input from the owners and/or owners Inspection team after each inspections. This software tracks inspection intervals based on user input based on governing corrosion rates of the vessel as opposed to the laborious effort of tracking every single thickness data point. Many of the larger more expensive tracking data basis require: 1) All measurement (UT) data points to be input and tracked which requires thousands of entries. 2) This results in a time consuming effort to input the data and to maintain the data. 3) Users are dependent on the software to evaluate the equipment apart from an overall (holistic) review and assessment by a qualified Inspector or engineer relying solely on the program to assess and recommend inspection intervals and remaining life. One of the draw backs associated with these massive databases is the tendency for them to get hung up on a single TML point that gets caught in a cycle
of inspecting that point at close intervals (every 2 weeks, 3 months, et) with no sound basis for it. The Eagle Asset Tracking Database software tracks inspection intervals are manually inputted per piece of equipment (all the TML reading are not input or tracked by the program, just the governing results) and are based on governing corrosion rates of the vessel from an Inspection Report that combines all API and NDE results and evaluations resulting in intelligent input and scheduling. This ensures that each item or piece of equipment is evaluated by a qualified API Inspector and updated in the database resulting in an inspection program that is comprehensive, user friendly and easily managed (not time consuming to up keep). The Eagle Asset Tracking Database tracks: Items: Pressure Vessel's (PV's), Storage Tank's (AST's) Relief Valve's (RV's) Piping Pump's Motorized Operating Valve's (MOV's) (including any other item that the user desires to track, custom setup) Elements: Engineering Document Storage (Design Specifications, Design Drawings, P&ID's, MSDS) (Electronic Files such as Word, AutoCad, PDF) Inspection Reports (Internal, External, NDE [UT, WFMT, et]) (Electronic Files such as Word, AutoCad, PDF) Static Data (Meeting PSM Requirements) Inspection Intervals (based on inspection results, API Recommendations, and/or RBI plans) RBI Planning (Consequence, Probability, risk matrix based on RBI assessment) Action Items (Work Orders, Repair Notes, Engineering Assessments)
Basic Functionality of the Program Choose the category of interest: Pressure Vessel's (PV's), Storage Tank's (AST's), Relief Valve's (RV's), et The program brings you to a "Tier One Level" page where you can select the Unit of Interest from a pull down menu.
Unit vessels are automatically listed under subheadings of Vessel Type (Drums, Towers, Exchangers, et) This level displays basic information such as: 1) Vessel ID 2) Basic Dimensions (Diameter, Length) 3) Vessel Description 4) Vessel Type (Drum, Exchanger, Tower, et) 5) Next inspection for each unit item (External, Internal, UT's) 6) RBI Rating, 7) Associated P&ID At this level the user can query for Vessel Data, Due Inspections, Unit Listings. Inspection intervals may show up red indicating that it is past due. RBI's are color coded to green, yellow, or red to indicate criticality
Query for upcoming external or internal inspections, pick [PV Ext Insp Sch] i.e., External Inspections due the next year; Info Displayed: Vessel ID, Vessel Description, Unit, Last External Inspection Date, Frequency, Next Inspection Due Date, (Next UT inspection Due Date shows up with both the External and Internal Queries).
Query for all equipment, lists per Unit and Equipment Type, pick [Unit Vessel Listing] Information displayed includes: 1) Vessel ID 2) Basic Dimensions (Diameter, Length) 3) Vessel Description 4) Vessel Type (Drum, Exchanger, Tower, et) 5) Next inspection for each unit item (External, Internal, UT's) 6) RBI Rating, 7) Associated P&ID
To go to "Tier Two Level " of the program, place the curser on the piece of equipment of interest in the Tier One Level and pick [View Vessel Data]. The Data page for that specific vessel is displayed. Action Items can be entered at this level Vessel document storage such as design specs and drawings Print Page PSV Tracking Static Data Basic RV Data All related PSV's can be accessed via the pull down menu and picking the [PSV] button RBI Risk Matrix Inspection Info (Intervals, Freq) Data input for two chambers (i.e.,heat Exch, Towers, et) Bottom of page, store inspection documents
Action Item Entry, pick [Action Items], form pops up for data entry PSV Tracking Enter Action Items Opens to PSV displayed in PSV ID cell of the associated equipment data page (Pull down or type in to select PSV of interest) Inspection Info (Intervals, Freq) Static data Store Inspection reports
Picking [Active Action Item] calls up a query of all active action items listed by priority and then by date.
