DESCRIPTION This robust building was constructed in 1940 to make parts for the Avro-Lancaster bomber and continued to be used for aircraft component manufacture until the 1960 s. A series of low grade uses followed until the present owners commissioned Stephenson Bell Architects to carr y out a high quality and comprehensive renovation from top to bottom.
