SENIOR TEAM MEMBERS MYTCH JEFFREY MANAGING DIRECTOR Mytch Jeffrey has a strong background in policing with an emphasis on risk management for major economic, government and private sector installations. His expertise includes the formulation of business continuity crisis management, emergency, and strategic security risk management plans. Mytch is an accomplished presenter with experience in the provision of expert reports and court evidence. His particular expertise involves the review and analysis of appropriate security, safety, disaster and emergency management programs, expenditure and strategies to minimise identified risks. Mytch is regarded as one of Australia s leading practitioners in terms of strategic analysis and implementation of enterprise wide programs including business continuity, disaster management, terrorism, crime and safety. FRANK BELLOMO CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER Frank Bellomo is responsible for the co-ordination of all national operations with a specific focus on human resource management, industrial relations, quality assurance, contract and financial management, business development and strategic and tactical advice. With over 20 years of experience in the safety, security and risk management industry, Frank has provided advice and strategic direction across numerous industry sectors. ANDREW COOKE GENERAL MANAGER NORTHERN REGION AND ASIA PACIFIC Andrew has over 22 years experience in law enforcement and Security Risk Management on a local, national and international level. He is well versed in conducting Security Operations within culturally diverse, politically sensitive, strategically challenging environments. Andrew has comprehensive knowledge of practices and procedures in all facets of risk management, security operations and intelligence gathering. He has developed & promoted strategies for security operations; researched, developed & implemented new risk reduction techniques & methodologies; and provides professional advice and information to business units, stakeholders and/or clients. Andrew has developed and implemented effective strategies for crisis/emergency management, which range from preparedness to prevention, response and recovery planning. These crisis ranges from threat to critical infrastructure, terrorist incidents, travel & journey management, natural disasters, kidnapping and hostage, among others. As a qualified trainer is able to instruct on how to deal with crisis through planning, education and training Andrew is trained and qualified in risk/threat assessment, environmental scans, security reviews, and subsequent business continuity and recovery. He has planned, implemented & monitored security, risk & property related projects using a risk management framework. Andrew has wide-ranging expertise in managing Sport Security and Risk Management on a local, national and international level. He has worked with a number of International Sporting bodies in which he managed all facets of security. Andrew is a qualified trainer and has delivered presentations to sporting organisations which included: Travel Security, Personal Security, Risks Management, Crisis Management and Security Management. Andrew is trained and operationally proficient in hostage negotiation, kidnap and ransom management, close personal protection and counter terrorist driving. Also, qualified in the field of Counter-terrorist investigations, negotiations and high-risk protective details at local, national and international levels. Andrew has worked in a number of high risk countries i.e. Pakistan, AJK (Kashmir), India, Bangladesh, Malaysia, and Papua New Guinea and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in all facets of international security operations and investigations to Business Risks International. JOHN PORTOGLOU GENERAL MANAGER SOUTHERN REGION John is an experienced security and law enforcement professional with over 24 years experience in general and specialist policing and public order practices. John has spent numerous years in specialist branches of the Victoria Police, specialising in Criminal Investigations and Emergency Management. John s last assignment with the Victoria Police included heading up the Emergency Management Recovery Phase of the Black Saturday Victorian Bushfires. Prior to Joining BRI John held the position of Director of Security Grand Hyatt Hotels, where he was responsible for asset management, emergency management, security risk management, and investigations. John holds formal qualifications in Investigations (both fraud and criminal), Occupational Health and Safety, Emergency Management, Human Resources, Economic Crime Management, Tactical Negotiation and Security Risk Management. John holds a Diploma of Business and an Advanced Diploma in Police Management. BRAD CROFT WA STATE OPERATIONS MANAGER Brad has a background in Finance and has spent a considerable amount of time overseas working in sales and marketing. Prior to this Brad, worked for American Express in the fraud department and most recently Brad worked with the Australian Taxation Office as their superannuation consultant. Brad provides management oversight to the Perth s Operations, increasing BRI s business profile whilst ensuring the company maintains and exceeds its client s expectations. SCOTT HATFIELD SENIOR CLIENT SERVICES MANAGER Scott Hatfield has extensive managerial experience, with past responsibility for the deployment and management of staff across five states while in the role of National Operations Manager for a major import/export company. Additionally Scott has ten years experience in the New South Wales Police Force specialising in areas such as brief handling and community liaison. As a Field Training Officer, Scott was responsible for on the ground training and development of New South Wales Police recruits. As BRI S Senior Client Services Manager, Scott is responsible for client service, human resource management, staff training and compliance, together with ongoing business development. STEVAN DRAGOJEVIC OPERATIONS MANAGER With over 22 years in the security industry Stevan brings considerable experience and knowledge in the key areas of customer relations and client services with a key focus on people development and sustainable business practices. Stevan has completed his Diploma in Management, Certificate IV in Workplace Training and holds his Security Risk Advisor licence; Stevan is currently undertaking his Masters of Business Administration at UTS. Stevan has the ability to determine service model(s) and key areas of difference from that of the competitors providing customers with excellent service levels. Stevan endeavors to excel in customer service by measuring the achievements of agreed service levels through regular reviews of operational systems and procedures. CALLAN LYNES NSW CLIENT SERVICES MANAGER Callan has extensive experience in security management, with more than 17 years in the industry. Throughout his career, Callan has managed numerous large security teams, and also ran his own security company for a period of seven years, and included several high profile clients. He has completed a Graduate Diploma in Security Science, Graduate Certificate in Security Management, is a licensed Security Consultant, and is completing his Masters in Security Management at Edith Cowan University. With more than six years experience managing the security team at the University of Technology Sydney, Callan has a unique understanding of the diversities within the University environment and the need to develop relationships within the University community. Callan has a strong customer focus and can do attitude, he strives to provide an exemplary service to clients, through developing relationships based on trust and professionalism. With a strong emphasis on ensuring the effective operations of security services by managing available resources and allocating security personnel or resources to conduct investigations into incidents or security related issues. He has a strong focus on developing people and encouraging staff members to further develop themselves through training opportunities and career challenges. RICARDO DONATH VIC CLIENT SERVICES MANAGER Ricardo has over 15 years experience in the Military, Diplomatic security and Security Risk Management on a national and international levels. Ricardo possesses extensive experience within the security industry in various areas including training, operations, planning, consulting, events and close personal protection. As VIC State Operations Manager, Ricardo is responsible for client service, human resource management, staff training and compliance, together with ongoing business development. LIAM FRADLEY VIC CLIENT SERVICES MANAGER Liam has worked in the security industry since 2002 with a number of major organisations including Crown Casino & City of Melbourne. Whilst at BRI, Liam has been responsible for the management of security in the prestigious QV precinct in Melbourne. Now as BRI's Victorian Account Manager, Liam contributes a valuable skill set to the BRI team. Liam possesses extensive experience within the security industry generally and Security Control Room and CCTV Camera Management in particular. He has qualifications in major event planning, public order prevention, human resource management conflict resolution and technical security. Liam's previous experience includes managing complete technical security environments (including as head of the security management team for the Melbourne QV precinct) and responsibility for both tactical and strategic security operations. IAIN COTTRELL CONSULTANT Iain s experience ranges across the banking, retail, law enforcement, consulting and insurance industries. He has provided strategy development and implementation support to Australia s major banks. Iain has assisted major insurance companies to achieve industry leading efficiency and effectiveness through strategies that increase risk detection and reduce costs. These fraud risk systems have included the establishment of an advanced analytical team for financial crime and operational risk. Iain is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, Institute of Analytics Professionals Australia and the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists. Iain has qualifications in Accounting and Justice Studies. He has written numerous articles, undertaken interviews and presentations as industry spokesperson and specialist for newspapers and journals on the topics of fraud, security consulting, anti-money laundering and e-commerce security.
