Data Polling Software Watchdog e Watchdog Enterprise (Watchdog e ) is Colorflex s fully integrated, data polling / print software. Watchdog e takes data, processes it and then automatically prints or reprints individual items or entire print runs, seamlessly using its internal print engine. Offers two methods for managing data: 1. The ASCII method watches for a variety of file formats in multiple specified locations. 2. The Serial method watches for inbound serial data stream. Once new data is received, Watchdog e processes and transforms it based on pre-set rules, before sending it for printing. Watchdog e can utilise multiple data sources, template designs and output printers. Watchdog e can exclude duplicate records, clean extraneous characters or records as required. As well as execute specified rule based data transformation tasks and route data as specified.
