1. Objectives The objectives of this 3 rd European Conference on e-public Procurement are: A. 7. How to get there? Airport From Porto Airport to where the Conference is being held it s a 17 minutes drive. You have several alternatives when reaching the airport, such as Taxi, Bus and Metro. The Airport is located at: Aeroporto Francisco Sá Carneiro, 4470-558 Maia. Taxi Taxis allow you to arrive at Biblioteca Almeida Garret from any point in the city, but of course the tariff also increases according to the distance, traffic and day time. A trip from the Airport to the Conference Location is around 12 euros. Metro The city of Porto has Metro from the airport coming directly to the center. From the airport to the Conference venue, you should take the Line E (taking about 23 minutes) and exit at the stop Carolina Michaelis. 9. Where to stay? Hotel & Accommodations Porto has an excellent offer of hotels and places to stay. We have selected some hotels with good quality-price equilibrium; most of them fairly close to the Conference location. Please note that other events, such as Rally Portugal, are taking place in Porto on the same week, and so advanced booking is strongly recommended!
